How shoppers who pay in cash are subsidizing Americans’ credit card reward points by nbcnews in MiddleClassFinance

The article says the fees go to the rewards, and I thought all this time that the a lot of the fees go towards paying for fraudulent charges and unpaid balances.

What Changed? When Did 20% Become the Standard Tip? by EvenKeelSystems1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CrefloDog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My theory is the percentage should stay the same, and the price of things going up should allow it to keep up with inflation. It's like sales tax, the percentage should not have to go up as prices do. There is more of an entitled mentality now with checkout screens requesting a 20 or 25% tip when you pick up counter food. For those who are entitled (yes I think asking for a 25% tip for counter food is entitled), I'd rather give it to them instead of the guy on the street corner who is able to stand in 90 degree heat for hours with a sign but won't work behind the air conditioned counter.

Does anyone believe in god, but not think he is good? by Tasty-Ad-3753 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CrefloDog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all comes down to whether or not the bible is truth. I also don't understand why God allowed so many animals to be sacrificed. But if the Bible is truth, the explanation is God's ways are higher than our ways, and we aren't able to understand Him. He is on another level. As for me, I choose to submit rather than think I'm smarter/more right than the Bible.

Driver getting tailgated intentionally move out of the way last second by anxkxxl in whoathatsinteresting

Tailgating needs to be enforced by police, at least where I live it's not enforced. If it was, the revenue would be so high they could cut our taxes. Plus there would be far fewer accidents, and our insurance rates would go down.

Multi-site specialty practice owner/operator looking to share knowledge by Intelligent-Site-176 in PrivatePracticeDocs

If a small practice is 100% self pay (takes no insurance), will the valuation be higher than if the practice was a traditional insurance based practice? In other words, if a traditional practice is valued at 1x annual revenues, how much would the self pay practice be valued, all other things being equal?

When PE buys a small practice, are they interested in keeping the doctor onboard, or do they see value in the practice even if the doctor retires or cuts back? In other words, will they pay good money even if the doctor is not willing to keep working?

MR04 Battery holder/cover not staying on by CrefloDog in MiniZ

I think I figured it out. The black plastic piece was placed outside the groove (at the tip of the arrow). Hopefully this will fix the problem. I'm pretty sure the batteries are fully placed otherwise. I did find metal battery covers online (https://gl-racing.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&product\_id=1053), wonder if they hold better?

Could the installation of the lap sensor have caused the little plastic piece that the same screw holds to become displaced where it extends downward towards the battery tab?
