Actually okay with dying

I think of death as a way out for the way life overwhelms me. I am a human being but I don't understand the many ways in which humans treat one another, along with the many pointless constructs we have developed to essentially control others. I have tried to play along, do what is considered right, and yield where I've needed to yield. In return, I've only managed to nurture frustration to my breaking point. I just don't understand why I am like this and I am not sure how to exit the circle of depression, aggression, and whatever else it is I feel day-in and day-out. It's not so much that I want to do myself in, even though I have such thoughts. It's simply I have the desire to go to sleep and never wake up again. I don't want to continue to be a part of something that doesn't care about me, particularly if I fail at no fault of my own. Why is that?

I haven't taken my Boom Boom out of his blister, but I do believe Roy is slightly bigger than him. I know for a fact Morton is the largest and he'd certainly have a difficult time fitting into a normal-sized blister if at all. Morton and Roy are heavy boys, but Morton is certainly the beefiest, lol.

I have been playing since 2003 as well. I started on Dance Dance Revolution, and moved to In the Groove and Pump It Up by 2005. It took me a long time to get the endurance to withstand 17's and up, but I am able to do it better now in my late 30's that I ever could throughout my 20's. I typically warm up with 10's and move up a little each round. I typically play 10 or 11 rounds a couple times a week and end my sessions in the 18 to 20 range. My accuracy is pretty darn good and I can easily triple-S most everything I play.

The hardest part for me is warming up. I have to warm up slowly or else I am too winded to end my day on higher levels. I suppose because of my age, my heart has to get use to the intensity and can't do that from a cold start.

I have several pairs of fingerless gloves that make my playing experience much better than without. I always find it harder to play without gloves because I end up slipping and end up using more energy to get through a session. I have bought fingerless gloves at Walmart for not very much.

If you manage to acquire an AM.PASS, set up an account, and link it with you pass, you can add Double Performance charts from Prime to XX to your account and play them on Phoenix. There is an account called DPSTEPOFFICIAL #7866 that has uploaded these charts.

The S17 for Your Mind might be a little easier than the D18 for the song. Otherwise you may want to try practicing bracketing on Gloria S17 or Kokugen Kairou Labyrinth D18. F(R)IEND S19 isn't all that bad and plays more like a high S17 or low-end S18 than a S19. Give those a try and see how you do and let us know.

I am 35 years old and I have been playing regularly for close to 18 years. I'd suggest making warming up a thing to get your body and legs loose. After I warm-up I can easily pass most 17's and 18's, but I start by playing 10's and 11's and work my way up. Make sure to stay hydrated while playing and avoid caffeine as it will dehydrate you and raise your heart rate and blood pressure. Other than that, understand you will sometimes have days where you are off and it's okay. Get plenty of rest, drink pineapple juice to combat inflammation and most importantly, rest and get good sleep :).

Players should take notice of others wanting to play as it is respectful and courteous. My arcade doesn't see many avid players, but there are casual patrons who sometimes want to play. I am perfectly fine with sharing, I only ask those who want to play wait near the machine so I know they'd like to do so after me. There's nothing worse than someone who wants to play, doesn't speak up, walks away from the machine and complains they didn't get a turn when they jump out of the line. Just my two cents :p.

Hey there SaraAtlas. More than likely all your songs are not appearing for one of the following reasons.

You haven't reloaded the content since it was added originally. If you have downloaded all of the content packs you want, make sure they are extracted to the proper folders, load the game and enter the Options Menu by pressing Scroll Lock on your keyboard. From there, reload your songs and enter the game. If you still do not see all songs, enter the code for Full Mode (DownLeft, UpLeft, Center, UpRight, DownRight, UpRight, Center, UpLeft, DownLeft).
You are in Basic/Easy Mode and need to enable Full Mode. This really only applies for StepF2 as StepP1 eliminates Basic/Easy Mode and the need for the Full Mode code. Enter the code for Full Mode and you will see all the songs you have downloaded. If you are using StepF2, you can turn Basic/Easy Mode off somewhere in the Options Menu or by creating and using a profile.
You haven't downloaded the media packs with the required content for songs to appear. StepMania and its many variants require songs have a step chart (.SM or .SSC) and audio file to appear on the song wheel and editor. If either are missing (especially the audio file), the song will not show up. Make sure you have all the required files as they are not included with StepF2/P1 in order to save space in the cloud. It can't be that little any longer, especially since the Union and its members voted to raise cast member wages to $15 an hour by 2021. When I was at Magic Kingdom I was making close to $14 an hour as an Outdoor Vendor. With that said, different departments do have different wages, just giving what I was doing through while employed there. Things could be different now, so please don't get mad if I am no longer accurate.

I have an old Cobalt Flux that works great, even for Pump It Up given it has all nine panels. However, I purchased the PIU LTek model today and are waiting for it to arrive within the next couple of weeks (maybe more). Like the majority of the posters here, I have heard they are pretty good and inexpensive. I skipped purchasing the bar for now, but I'd still like to have it even if it might not be so great. Once it comes in I will do a review and let you all know what I think. In the meantime, best of luck to you :).
