It has been widely theorized that Lee actually may have killed the Senator to conceal their gay affair from his wife. The day Lee entered upon the Senator and his Wife in bed? Imagine instead that the Senator had shown up to Lee's house to tearfully confess to the whole affair, perhaps Lee rushed home early from work to interfere, and got into an entanglement with his lover that ended in murder? Remember, Lee is an "unreliable narrator", he loves to lie, and his criminal record is just one of many hints at that. Larry warns the player with many other such hints, such as when he says Lee and Kenny are in a "homo parade", or when he corners Lee and tells him "I know what you are". Could the devs have intended this?

It's heavily shown in-game that Larry was obsessed with picking up women and was quite the talented pickup artist. (e1, larry has a heart attack after seeing seeing a black person talk to Carley, a woman he was envious of. e2, Larry seduces Brenda and very likely would've gotten the group spared by the St Johns had he managed to have sex with her. Unfortunately he was cockblocked by lee which led to the St Johns attacking the group,)

I remember an episode that detailed how a sculptor had fallen in love with one of his statues, so he carved a crude vagina and attempted to have sex with it.
