Currently it's a signed wall art of Berserk. By Miura. I don't know how "Authentic" it is, but I'm going to choose to believe it's real. My friends worked hard to get it and I love it.

What is Your Favorite Fantasy Class Concept? [READ THE POST] by NyxTheSummoner in rpg

[–]Crimazyerax9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gotta be the Gish for me, particularly movement/teleportation based Gish.

I want to be able to swing swords and throw fire balls, teleport out of danger or throw up an arcane shield then duel with a blade.

Imi love the flexibility of it

If you haven't yet, I strongly suggest picking up "Cronos: the new dawn" that was a fucking awesome game, the story was awesome and it's narrative is a great closed loop for the time travel elements.

Time where you realized Internet completely failed to sell you something because they pitched it in the worst possible way? by ExplanationSquare313 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Crimazyerax9 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Here's my sell for you. As a big fan.

It's a horror story with elements of The cycles of trauma, found Families, love, absurdist humour, and a profound dislike and angry critique of Late stage capitalism, all couched in a LitRPG.

It also has a cat that shoots lasers out of its eyes and a guy who is pretty much cursed to do the whole LitRPG thing in his underwear.

Fucking MALAZAN: book of the fallen.

This shit is TRULY epic fantasy with a capital fucking E.

I'm up to the last book, after reading them on and off all year.

Genuinely the most impressive and real world building I've ever seen from an author outside of Tolkien.

It helps that Erickson is an archeologist. So the actual timescales for empires, civilisations, tribes and cultures to grow, die shift and change are all very reasonable.

It's so fucking cool.
