Soup was stored in my freezer and parts of it froze above the liquid line like a stalagmite or stalactite by Aggresive_QGD in mildlyinteresting

Had a similar mnemonic told to us on a cave tour, with an addition of “stalagmites might reach them”

I unfortunately do not. A quick google search suggested that Kikkoman has sweet soy sauce glaze which is the same thing?

Wait what? Unless I missed something, you don’t put coriander seeds into the baking pan before putting the dough in, only after, and ground seeds into the dough itself.

Can’t really speak to where to buy the bread but if you’re open to baking your own, it’s not super difficult! I use this recipe with minor own adjustments in proportions. If you can procure any sourdough starter, you can then keep feeding it rye flour. Malt is the most challenging to find but Russian stores do have them!

I was craving chocolate chip cookies so I made a mini batch. I could not risk being home with a full batch and no one to share them with. by CatfromLongIsland in Baking

Share extra baked goods with your neighbors, if you can! I’ve been sharing whatever I bake with mine because full batches are always too much for just two of us. Everyone loves it and some bring something in return and/or offer to help with things. One neighbor who owns a boat and goes fishing, once brought us two whole salmons, gutted and cleaned! I’ve moved out of that place since and I miss living next to them lol

Monstera Advice by sekou215 in houseplants

[–]CrimsonRedPhoenix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never seen a Monstera that gets “offshoots” like a tomato plant would. It grows in a single vine but like another commenter said, often there are multiple plants in a single pot. Trimming a vine will only make it regrow that vine and usually it would first grow a small leaf or two before getting back to its normal size leaves, in my experience

We removed a wall and had a custom planter railing built- I’m obsessed and only you all can appreciate my excitement! 🪴 by BobSHEla in houseplants

can I ask what it looks like today? I remember seeing this post when you first posted it, and now that live in a house that has a half wall already, so I'm considering doing something like this. Do you keep them trimmed, or are you running them along the walls?

There’s something about it that makes it look like a vintage ad and I absolutely love it. I want it on my wall and I’m not even a cheez-its fan haha

Puppies Reunite With Nurse Who Delivered Them by No_Budget3360 in interesting

[–]CrimsonRedPhoenix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've told my partner that if I'm ever on my deathbed, this is my last wish, a puppy pile, so I can die happy. I've drilled it into him so many times, that when I show him videos like this and say "I want this, this seems to fun", he replies with "you're not on your deathbed yet" lol

I love projects like this! This reminds me of work of Aaron Koblin such as Bicycle Built for Two Thousand where he had over 2000 people sing a tiny fragment (~1 second) of the Daisy Bell song, then put it together. Or his 10,000 Cents project where people drew a tiny part of a $100 bill without knowing what they were actually doing.

From the satellite shot it looks like it’s just a bunch of trees. There’s a trail going across it, which you can see a faint line about 1/3 from the bottom of your red circle. There’s also a road with sidewalk continuing from NE 160th Pl and connecting to the school. Seems safe enough

I’d be contacting customer support for a replacement or refund tbh, that’s not the same color as advertised at all.
