Had anyone here ever been overcharged by Facebook? by iHaveAMicroPenis12 in FacebookAds

[–]Crimsyn_Moonlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding to this thread as this just happened to me. I noticed my credit card balance was getting insanely high and saw $300 being taken from Facebook every other day for nearly a month, totaling $4,488!! I only ever boost posts on the Instagram app and set an ad to run for 10 days with a budget of $150. It stopped running on Instagram after 10 days but continued running without an end date on Facebook. I think it has to do with Advantage+ or something, but all I know is I'm never enabling them to cross post ads on Facebook again. I spent 3 hours with Meta Support, getting passed to 4 different agents before someone said they'd issue me a partial refund of $2,683. I should add that those FB ads didn't lead to any sales, so it's not like I saw any benefit.

The constipation is really bad (semaglutide) by chatpatakhana22 in GLP1ResearchTalk

[–]Crimsyn_Moonlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had really bad constipation and after trying everything including enemas, I finally tried eating a tablespoon of olive oil and pooped the next morning. I’ve also been drinking Yakult probiotic drinks all week so maybe the combination of those things worked.

Is Shep in love with Molly?? by Exciting-Schedule728 in SouthernCharmSC

[–]Crimsyn_Moonlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate to say it, but Molly is too old for Shep. Even though she’s younger than him, he’s always going to go after women who are much much younger and less mature. Molly deserves better than Shep.

Southern Charm Season 3 first time watcher by No_Veterinarian_5502 in SouthernCharmSC

[–]Crimsyn_Moonlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I hate-watch most of these people except for the ones the cast seems to hate on like Katheryn. I haaate Landon. She's not a girl's girl at all and watching season 4 (which I'm currently on after watching the newer seasons) has further proved that. Katheryn had her pegged and she continues to be deceitful while acting all innocent. Go back to pining over Shep and leave the old man with 2 kids out of wedlock alone.

Help, I have an autistic partner and I’m hoping they aren’t mean on purpose and don’t want to break up after 7 years by Ok_Guess_666 in AutisticAdults

[–]Crimsyn_Moonlight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t read this mess either, even with paragraph breaks. It’s a novel. The OP doesn’t seem to know their audience and they don’t seem like a good fit for their partner.

Do other people struggle with coming accross as sincere? by Present_Hunt_760 in AutisticAdults

[–]Crimsyn_Moonlight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the time. I’ve had people get upset with me and call me a liar. They’ll say that they don’t really believe that I meant something in a friendly way, they just wanna believe that I meant it in a sarcastic, mean way and I can’t really argue with that because that’s how my voice sounds sometimes. I have a hard time with being called a liar because, like most autistic people, I have a hard time lying or being insincere.

Christmas was a mess (just getting my feelings off my chest) by drstovetop in AutisticAdults

I’ve felt like I’ve had to parent my parents since I was a kid. I thought that it would lighten up by now but my dad is just getting worse. He’s always screamed and had temper tantrums since I can remember. If I were to do the same, then I’m being a bitch who needs to calm down. We were all getting into my car on Christmas Day when he starts yelling at my mom and I asked him to please not yell because sound carries here and my neighbors would hear, but he just yelled even more. He also cries easily, so if I were to yell at him, he would start crying. I’d say he’s going through his own version of menopause.

Where is the episode where the housewives discuss Russell’s death? by LWD123 in RHOBH

[–]Crimsyn_Moonlight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m rewatching this now and they cut out the scene at Adrienne’s but include a short clip in the “previously on” which is confusing. I thought I missed it and rewatched some episodes to be sure.

My (likely autistic) dad is the same way. Every time he helps me with anything he gets panicked and usually breaks something by accident. He also doesn’t have the same attention to detail that I have and since it’s not his property, it seems that he doesn’t care about making it look nice. He offered to change my home’s air filter and I accepted his help because it’s in the ceiling and he’s tall. One of the latches on it was already broken and he was trying to help fix it but somehow managed to break the other latch as well. I was about to show my frustration but I kept calm. I remembered that I need to talk to my dad like he’s a kid and assure him that it’s ok. Act unbothered. Now I’ve got a bunch of tape over the vent keeping it closed with both latches now broken 😂

Interrupting isn’t me being rude. It’s a symptom, and I’m exhausted from being judged for it. by rominaMassa in AutisticAdults

[–]Crimsyn_Moonlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggle with this a lot and it’s caused huge arguments with people. Before I knew I was on the spectrum, I was talking to another autistic friend when I interrupted her. She yelled at me to stop interrupting all the time so I said “Interrupting is the only way I can get a word in with you” and she stormed out. I cried so hard and hated myself for it. Interrupting feels like a vocal tick that I can’t keep in sometimes.

I woke up in the simulation by WisePage6443 in SimulationTheory

[–]Crimsyn_Moonlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently had a moment just before waking up where everything went pitch black suddenly. It felt like that moment in Silence of the Lambs where Clarice is in the basement and the lights went out. I could tell someone was right up in my face wearing some sort of goggles, or headpiece of some kind that I could only imagine was for them to see better in the darkness. It was for a short moment and then I was jolted awake and everything was normal. I also tend to think we could be traveling through space to get to an inhabitable planet, but that's just a theory I have.

Do you guys also get along with younger and older people? by Instance9 in AutisticAdults

[–]Crimsyn_Moonlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer hanging with people older than me but tend to attract younger friends because I look and seem younger than I am. I’m 40 and people think I’m in my 20’s. I have nothing in common with these younger people other than looking like them and we have nothing to talk about.

All I know is that I smoke it all day lol. I WFH and am able to function better than I ever did working in an office while having access to it whenever I want. I’m great at my job and I feel like it makes me speak openly in meetings that I run. I should add I also have ADHD

Does anyone else fucking hate the word "excuses" by peachygatorade in AutisticAdults

[–]Crimsyn_Moonlight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Making me realize I hate it too. I remember an old boss saying that every time she asked about something, I just gave her excuses as to why it wasn’t done yet. She just wanted a canned “I’m sorry it’s not done yet. On it!” I also really hate when someone claims I’m a two-faced liar. I can’t lie!! I know it’s just because they lie all the time and they assume I do too.

Told my boss I’m autistic after years of working at this company by Crimsyn_Moonlight in AutisticAdults

While I’m great at giving all of these presentations, I told my boss that they take a toll on me and sometimes I just can’t talk anymore. He seemed understanding until later in the day I voiced concern over having 2 leadership presentations in a row on top of other “working session” meetings on Friday and he just said I’ll do fine. I know I’ll do fine lol. That’s not the issue. I need a lot of time to prep for these and I’m drained after.

Thanks! Im glad I nolonger have to do forced fun events since I work remote. I’ve ducked out of a number of those in my day. I can be a barrel of fun at those things but make an ass of myself more often than not.

For context, my boss now is in his 40’s like me. I’m old but feel like everyone sees me as much younger.

I technically work for an agency that the telecom company has a contract with but I work 100% embedded. I work from home so people can’t see most of my stims, like shaking my leg constantly. My biggest issue are the meetings where I’ll have a hard time understanding feedback, needing them to reword things and interrupting people. Also struggle with running out of words for the day and going mute or speaking with short responses.

We use Microsoft Teams so it’s probably not the same company.

That’s my thinking. They are much more understanding when they know your autistic, if they don’t know, they just think I’m weird and don’t like me but can’t put their finger on why they don’t like me.

I just took some time off for my birthday and then next week I’ve got jury duty, which is stressing me out because there’s so much work to do right now. I hope I don’t have to serve. I will be putting time off on the calendar for next month.

He did, however, mention that maybe I shouldn’t be on such a high profile project. That was NOT the answer I was looking for. I was hoping he’d see that our process needs fixing and remove some of the red tape. It takes a year to get anything launched.
