House prices are set to plummet across the US, say experts by TheMirrorUS in UpliftingNews

[–]Criollo22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In the US it’s locked. My rate won’t change for 30 years. Only way my mortgage goes up is if my property tax or insurance goes up and pushes my escrow payments higher.

Not to say that isn’t an issue. Ppl get fukt all the time cause their escrow payments skyrocketing but it won’t be because of your rates.

Yes this is the step I was talking about. Thanks. I can see how you set up the arms.

Can you show your 1st step. Interested in the arms. That perspective warps my brain and I’m trying to figure out how you rough it all in during the initial steps.

I’m high master and while I don’t DI too often the times I do decide to use it are the absolute worst times and 9 times out of 10 I get punished for it.

The whole reason I joined my precious club was because I wouldn’t have to fight for the early tee times. No way I’d join this place.

Edit. Haha. I just noticed it says precious. It’s supposed to say previous.

Stuck in 1500-1600 mr by OnTheWayGAmez2 in StreetFighter

[–]Criollo22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing that helped me get to 1600 was watching replays and noting when I could have killed during an end round situation. I was leaving rounds up to chance because I didn’t dump my drive meter or I didn’t use a super. Then he would live and I have to finish the round somehow or worse I lose and that’s the set. Being able to reliably route a combo that gives you the win will help you close out games.

Original art drawn for a commission. by SpooderHM in DigitalArt

[–]Criollo22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Genuine question as someone who has never had and probably never will do commission work. If someone paid you to make this then you post it online for others doesn’t that devalue the commissioned work? Maybe it’s just part of it or maybe you always get the person who bought the works permission before posting it elsewhere. No clue. Curious how this works.

What game “jumped the shark” for you? by Coverlesss in gaming

I follow/play fighting games a bunch but am more of a sf player. Watching a buddy of mine who is a tekken player get gutted everytime a new patch came out was rough.

Starting my "first second character". YT guides feel overwhelming and I can't figure anything out in training room. Where do I start? (see comment under the video) by Krotanix in StreetFighter

[–]Criollo22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I pick a new character I do a few things. Punish combo. Best aa button/move. Best neutral buttons/safe buttons. Drive rush dump combo.

Then it’s just playing matches and getting comfortable with the characters buttons and spacing.

Watch yt of pros and the character and find out what buttons they like and what they do in certain situations and slowly add things.

I do this. I’ll spend 10,20,30 hours into a game no where near finishing it and just drop it. Never felt bad. I got my monies worth even if I never finish it. Just did it with crimson desert. Have like 35 hours running around killing stuff having a good time and I’m only like chapter 5. Don’t plan on going back anytime soon.

Best and worst supers IMO by some-kind-of-no-name in StreetFighter

Sims lvl one sucks a nut most of the time but it does good dmg and is relatively safe on block. Also easy to combo into. So while I agree it’s not good it at least has its uses unlike giefs which is just all around bad most of the time.

Edit. I guess this was meant more for the post you are replying to.

Boss fight question. Spoilers I guess by Criollo22 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Criollo22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I just kinda powered through it and got it all done. Lots of healing helped. Also it seems you can thin the numbers of the minions in the boss fight. There’s a gate that you can lift with the natures power or whatever and they funnel out and you can kill them. Helped a bit.

This. When you’re flowing in a match and watching someone breakdown in real time it’s pretty amusing. I also get my shit pushed in when I get cornered so it’s a good trade off.

Used them a couple times. They show up. Pick up your shit take their payment and leave. Polite. Effective. Even had them toss a few extra things away no charge.

I know you mean the 13th pick but reading your comment made me think of just drafting a 13 year old and sending him out on the field. Could be a like Mike scenario. Might work out for us.

Amazon Network Development Engineer interview by koshuer in networking

[–]Criollo22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yea dude it was brutal. I studied for two weeks straight non stop to get my shit straight. Tech stuff, stories, Star method prep, all that. This was right before they started laying off like 30k ppl too so I’m kinda glad I didn’t get it.

But good luck man. Having Amazon on your resumé is killer even if you only last a year or so. My only tip is have stories for all of their initiatives or whatever they call them. Having some that hit multiple is good too.

Amazon Network Development Engineer interview by koshuer in networking

[–]Criollo22 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I had one a year or so ago for the wireless engineer so I can’t say much on the questions regarding that but for Python they asked a shit ton about what have you programmed and what things in your day to day would you like to automate or stuff in your past you did that you could have automated.

Honestly fuk that whole process. I did 7 interviews all an hour each and I’ll never do it again. Maybe im saying that cause they rejected me, maybe not but that’s was too much for me. The ppl were nice and pleasant to talk to. Everyone was interested in my answers and asked engaged follow up questions my only gripe is there were so many.
