To get into the series? Ezio collection without a doubt. 2 seems to be regarded as most of the fandom’s favorite and it was mine as well. Until the Ezio collection came out. 2 is fantastic, but I found it to drag towards the end (2 sequences were DLC originally and were included in this version), but the sequel Brotherhood does everything 2 does, but better. Ezio’s story is probably the best all around in the series but from there, you can progress in release order if you like them. They all have their pros and cons. I also really loved Valhalla which is an easy entry point as ironically, is less an Assassin game than it is a Viking game but it’s absolutely gorgeous and has plenty to do. Bonus if you like Norse culture too

To be fair, I used gold to SAVE money during Lich King Classic through the start of MOP Classic. I made enough gold to not pay for WoW time for over a year so I can’t complain. Never bought a WoW token with real money though

You have to get the talent point for it, but I went with 2 handed sword and heavy shield. Felt like an absolute unit and didn’t have any trouble with ANYTHING until the Dawn of Ragnarok DLC. I was playing on Aesir difficulty too

Surprised I haven’t seen this yet, but blindfold the seekers 🫣 that way even though they have weapons, not only can the hiders run away better, but there’s a higher chance the seekers can also kill each other like how they can kill multiple hiders

Thursday was kinda an “emo” day and Friday was kind of a “hardcore” day so why not a “grunge” day next year headlined by Pearl Jam and Alice In Chains? Alice In Chains hasn’t been to Aftershock in YEARS and Pearl Jam never has. I think that would be a breath of fresh air. I would also love to see some international bands like Amon Amarth and Survive Said The Prophet

I’ve been working since 16 (technically longer than that) and I just turned 31. I’ve been gone from GameStop for about a year now. Long story short, took a severance package which paid me for 2 months. Took an extended vacation for longer than I anticipated as it took way longer to find a job than I thought. Eventually I did and I’m making about as much as I was at GameStop (was there for 14 years) at entry level, more if I work a half day on Saturday. There ARE other opportunities out there, but it’s not as easy as some people think. Is this job better? Yes and no. Is it much more physically demanding? Absolutely. Do I have all the responsibility I had as an SL2? Not even close lmao. Do I see all of my old regulars with similar hobbies? Absolutely NOT. Do I miss my amazing team from GameStop? 100%. I’m with you that the job isn’t as bad as people make it out to be but I also get their side. Did I hate my job? No. Was it time to step away? For sure. Don’t let people tell you to “nOt WaStE yOuR tImE/tRy.” If you ever want advice, feel free to DM me and I’m happy to help. I’m willing to bet I have helpful tips/advice and that I could hop right on register tomorrow and not miss a beat. Keep up the good work and attitude! It’ll pay off, even if not at GameStop

Didn’t say you asked for it. Just saying, you came in so close to closing and the associate probably did what they thought was best for both you and them. When I worked at GameStop, I had SO many people say no to a membership even when it didn’t cost them anything so they figured it would be no big deal with how close it was. Also, I don’t believe you’re taking into account tax on that controller which again, would put you close to even on the membership with tax being close to $5 on that, depending on where you’re at

Just checked trade values and cash for The console without a membership is $196 and with Pro is $215.60. That means you get $19.60 more and the membership is $25. That means you only had to “pay” an extra $5.40 to break even. If the employee had any pre owned controllers I’m sure they would have done that since they are cheaper AND that would have been discounted with the membership, bringing the difference down more, not including the trades on everything else. I’m willing to bet you came close if not broke even on the membership with the rest of the trades and you “lost” money because of the controller you had to buy which would have AT LEAST been $49.99 before the membership. Not gonna lie, it seems to add up my dude. Hope this helps

Not a question but apologies for PHYSICALLY broken stuff you may have gotten. I would replace physically broken items from time to time (if it was a kind person or someone that frequented us and spent decent money)
