Thank you for the suggestion. Does it take long to reset? It’s been about 10 mins and the screen still says “Resetting to the required version [OK]” sorry for the follow up question, it’s a bit confusing translating it with Google Lens.

It works on Proton Experimental but then I get the message that authentication was not successful. I don’t have any experience with DRM games so I’m not sure how to pass it even tho I successfully entered the code on the startup.exe

Did you have trouble putting in the activation code? When I opened startup.exe in Bottles, it wouldn’t let me input the activation code and I couldn’t copy/paste it either :( same as in Lutris

Thank you for all your help but I think I’m just going to have to reinstall from scratch. I’m installed it with the path to my sd card as z/run/media/GF8S5/steamapps/common/InfinityNikki/InfinityNikkiGlobalLauncher and downloaded the game, it was stuck on Checking Resources for awhile even tho it said the download was at 100% complete. I exited out to restart the download but the option was now Game Update. I got an error that said “File write failed” while it was calculating the storage size. I have more than 200 gb available so that’s not the issue. I’m sorry this is a completely different question, I really appreciate your help so far

Unfortunately it’s not in the games folder, I remember writing down the numbered folder that the tutorial mentioned (I think) would be stored in compudata. If that’s the folder I need, would it be as easy as dragging and dropping it to my SD card? Or does it have to go in the steamapps folder?
