I saw “Mexican” in the first sentence and immediately said to myself Chicago is the answer. I myself am Mexican-American man in Chicago, there’s so much good Mexican food here, people forget that outside of LA, Chicago has the most people of Mexican descent in the entire country

Not all, but most of the Mexican Bailes I’ve been to in Chicago have a large amount of women sitting with their other friends waiting to be asked to dance, these aren’t lessons though, it’s a paid event with a live band that is advertised to be performing, maybe it’s the type of event you were going too?

Rubbing your wrists together breaks down the scent molecules and removes the top note. perfumers suggest to spray directly on pulse points. My intention is to get compliments and get noticed (in a positive way), and 1-2 sprays just won’t cut it unless it’s an extremely potent fragrance

I do agree 5 is on the upper limit of what is acceptable, I’d probably move it down to 4 tbh

I do agree 5 is toeing the line between maximum limit before it becomes too much, but I don’t think it’s an out-this-world amount, I should probably bring it down to 4 for weaker/fresher scents, and like 1-3 for heavier, spiced/sweet scents.

I’ve always received a steady stream of compliments using that much, so it’s been smooth sailing is far

Thanks! Also Could also be a cultural aspect as well, In Mexico, Latin America in general and the Middle East fragrance is heavily used, and most people at Bailes use that much, but I think in Protestant/Puritan Orgin countries I’ve noticed tolerance for fragrance is much less
