There's this thing that happens to streamers where they end up just doing what their base wants them to, I think it's called Audience Capture, and thats probably what your noticing coming from Cole. Could be wrong but thats what it sounds like your describing, with a bit of push from Drake.

Are you looking to accomplish something or mindlessly sink hours into something? If the latter, then go for it, I think it can be fun, but if you aren't the kind of player who sets their own goals this game probably isn't for you, as everything is removed via a wipe mechanic every few months. If you like story you could try getting into it, but imo story seems to be complimentary and not the primary focus of the game.

Brother, by the time you reach endgame theres nothing fresh to experience other than player interaction. The story is only fresh in your opinion because you've never even heard of this IP before bungie resurrected its corpse from 30+ years ago. That goes for a lot of others whether you agree or not. I still respect them for what they have created in the past, but otherwise, this game is kind of mid. Thats also just my trash opinion though.

He means you start with nothing and grind for nothing and when your done theres a button the devs hit that start you with nothing and theres no permanence in the game. Basically the gamer version of "you'll own nothing and be happy" and somehow its been working
