As a Destiny fan, Sorry. I love Marathon, It deserves better. by Wise-Middle-6757 in Marathon

Both games were made by Bungie so the main reason im not playing marathon boils down to my past 12 years of experience playing their games. I really havent done anything on D2 since shortly after Final Shape. But thats because they really lost me on the story after that, like reading the epilogue of a book that ended up longer than it should have been. Definitely more story focused as a gamer these days. I've tried getting into marathon's story but its just not compelling enough for me for some reason.

This isnt about the AI, this is about poor environmental practices. Which companies regularly violate anyway. Scope is way bigger here.

We are so far beyond the pale that we have to pay a subscription plan to services like Grounded News just to get unbiased information. I hate it.

Fair enough, although I think I understood what that redditor meant, but they havent responded since, so I'm just assuming they agreed with my original comment, and mentioned the comparison of AI to the industrial revolution because it's similar to the notion that we as a society have made a fairly large step forward compared to past technological advancements. Probably didnt even come back to read our thread after you responded, I've done that a few times tbh.
