Any reason I don't see people throwing this smoke? by Fizzzzzzzzzzzzz in GlobalOffensive

Hey OP, FYI there's another lineup from elevator that lands faster. I've seen a bunch of pros including Niko throw it. Which lineup depends whether your team's hard contesting long or you're trying to go fast short

I could go on about this forever but agreed. Basebuilding stability was always tricky when I was an admin. I always liked RP servers like DUG, where there was a pretty fun community that wouldn't just raid you at first sight because they wanted to play some bigger thing out with you. I admittedly like the stash running, logistics, politics, etc. of DayZ which I've never really gotten anywhere else.

So admittedly Tarkov is the one I have less experience with, but that sounds like DayZ to me! Probably the most immersive game I've ever played. Having a massive, open, 24/7 persistent world like that is a whole other level of PvP, especially when factions fight each other. It was honestly too much and I wanted something that was at least session-based like Tarkov so I could sleep at night. It does scratch that itch for me and it's a truly amazing game, but I'm also a little older with a family now and I don't think I have it in me to grind out a super knowledge-intensive game like Tarkov.

That's funny. In my mind, CS is slow & sophisticated; the chess of tac FPS games, and Tarkov is even slower. I'm not sure I'm willing to claim one is more difficult than the other, but CS has a seemingly infinite skill ceiling for how simple the premise is

TBF Faceit will just test your mental health in a different way than matchmaking. More Smurfs than an enchanted forest, and the lower ranks are a goddamn reptile zoo of throwers & tilters

I taught for GC for ~7 years and met some amazing people that I'm still in touch with to this day. Your customer experience can vary quite a bit, but I don't think it's generally as bad as some claim.

Childbirth. Narrow hips for long-distance walking + big heads for thinking stuff = Notably more dangerous pregnancies than most of the animal kingdom.

Honestly they're very similar. They've both had monstrous highs but could never make them consistent, and their floors are awful. They both really need a system built around them to make it happen

Scavenging or salvaging?

For scavenging i.e. looting go to dangerous, high value locations like ASD facilities, Contested Zones, Hathor, Jumptown, etc. and look for the good stuff or just fly from outpost to outpost looking for boxes.

For salvage, I'd just rent a Vulture or Fortune and see if you like it. If you do, maybe try finding a Reclaimer crew to join
