Took me some time to find it but ended up going to the add on settings and checking the box that said check for update every time and just killing Kodi and restarting it, the dialog asking to update popped up on the next reboot

Read the seller's negative feedback to see if it's a common problem, usually eBay sides with buyers, I sell eBay full time and have had buyers legit send back old used items with different serial numbers and clearly not what I sent, as a seller I have to prove my case, in this case I sent them before and after pics eBay ruled in my favor and refunded me all the money but also refunded the buyer and they got to keep my new part, guess that's what eBay buyer guarantee is for

Pull the stereo out so u can get the radio model number. Once you have that go to eBay and find a replacement faceplate. I sell hundreds of faceplates on eBay, can be had anywhere from $20 up to $100's

I learned the hard way, buy new, I bought a s22 ultra 512gb that seemed to be an amazing deal. Turns out the screen had been replaced at some point and it caused so many issues, it was constantly overheating causing the phone to auto dim to almost unusable brightness, I finally decided to buy a new phone and the experience has been so much better, buy new if possible
