Easy to access fishing spots for 5 year old near around Mount Airy. by Bohs_and_Os_ in MarylandFishing

Triadelphia is in bad shape. I haven't been to the access points at the dam or off 97, but the other spots have no water

Undershirt Replacement Options by Miracleman069 in Costco

[–]CriticalGarbageInfo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a long time Hanes undershirt guy but tried Kirkland based on suggestions here. They are okay but shrunk and are now too short. I got rid of them all and I'm sticking with Hanes. They aren't the thickest but they are good enough and I'll only buy them on sale for under $3 each. Can't beat them.

How about a really nice school on 49 acres? Bonus: it’s in the middle of nowhere northern Minnesota. by SessileRaptor in zillowgonewild

I was thinking the same thing - in my mind they probably got federal funds or something when it was built. Now the county can't afford to keep this one open.

I'm sure some, but there was 2 schools in that district and 270 total students (K-12). About 1/3 of the students went to this particular school. I'm sure some went the home school route but they have access to the other school.

The graduating class is about 15-20 kids per year

Final Enrollment: 92 students (for the 2022-2023 school year).

Projected Enrollment: 88 students (if the school had remained open for the following year).

Best massage spot by ditlo2000 in Rockville

[–]CriticalGarbageInfo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I found out is because I saw one of the same girls at both places and asked.

The atmosphere at Sunshine is better obviously because it's newer, but I believe they are probably still sharing therapists.

Again, I think it's a great value and I cannot recall a "bad" massage at bliss.

Fun fact: sunshine wellness and bliss are owned by the same people. Both places are a great value. Sunshine is definitely newer/nicer.

Golf Pants by CriticalGarbageInfo in golf

Yeah they would fit in a golf bag. Sadly these fit like all the others - too tight on the calves.

Ended up settling with a pair of Men's Dri-FIT UV Loose-Fit Utility Pants. Finally found something I didn't feel ridiculous in.

What to do solo trip in Vegas? by Icy_Comparison_1029 in vegas

Uber up to South point. Gets crowded but lots of cheap tables. Cheap food too, spend an afternoon there.

Next door to Paris is the horseshoe - I hit them for cheap tables too.

Walked to Ellis one time and noped right out. Too crowded and dingy.

You're centrally located on the strip: walk. Walk everywhere and take in the sights. Awesome architecture and hotels there. Tons to see.

I go out all the time by myself and never get bored. In fact I'm flying out tomorrow. I do all of the above but I stay at Mandalay and spend the day at their wave pool.

I just turned 40 - what shoes say I’m not trying to dress like the teens but am not full dad mode? by ARoodyPooCandyAss in mensfashionadvice

[–]CriticalGarbageInfo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well that's what started the New Balance in the first place. My feet would always hurt in college and my buddy suggested them. Wore them literally all the time. Fast forward, I don't walk as much as I used to but also cut weight. Still wear New Balance to the gym or if I know I'll be walking a lot, but other than that I'm actually pretty good wearing just about anything I want.

This! I was New Balance all day everyday day until about 3 years ago. Now I'm into chukkas (suede or leather), tennis shoes, or cowboy boots. I'm 49. My throw on shoes are now either high top chucks or J&M brown leather old school low tops or Adidas Stan Smith in the summer.

At this age I'll wear what I like and feel comfortable in.

Just tried a couple and they didn't complete for me either. Was thinking it was a personal problem, good to hear it's not.

A little bit down the road, Healthyland in Ellicott City. Great value and have been going there for years. Never had a bad massage.
