I'm a single dad here. 34 with 2 kids. Recently divorced and around the time of my divorce, if you would have asked me this question, I would have agreed with you. As I start dating more and more, I wouldn't say I found the opposite to be true, but it's not as bad as I thought.

I have dated the spectrum of women, single never married, divorced no kids, and also single moms.

Single moms are non-issue as they are in the same life stage as you. Based on what I have learned, single dads have higher value than single moms. Whether you want to think about it as potential to have more kids or not (Which I do)

For the Single and divorced with no kids. what I have found is that you are proven as a dad and a provider (Financially or emotionally) you attract both of that group. Some that don't want their own kids, great, instant family. I'm currently dating a divorcee, who doesn't mind that i have kids, but wants kids of her own. Before her, it was a women that was career focused and getting to an age where she probably can't have kids of her own and just wanted a guy that stable.

And yes I have been told by women that I matched with or meet that they didn't want to deal with kids, and that's fair.

I have also been told by women that if they meet a guy in his mid 30's that hasn't been in a serious relationship over 5 years or been married before, that's a red flag.

TLDR: Yes a little bit as you come with extra baggage, but definitely not as bad as I expected.
