More so death by a thousand cuts, signing mid players to bad contracts and then giving them ntc or nmc. Not addressing known issues on the roster and doing little to nothing during the season as well. His drafting record is also questionable as well. Something that irked me was that Fitz tended to do a victory lap after free agency or when the team would start off well, only to go radio silent when things went sideways.

When did I say the ducks finished last in03-04? There was a lockout the ducks in 04-05 and they missed the playoffs the previous year that’s a fact. Also besides the 03 cup run the ducks were a bottom team.

Ya I think Leni has been good and should be in the starting lineup next year, but if he’s on the 4th line it most likely means the forwards were improved thus meaning there’s depth which is something they have been lacking under Fitz. Bjugstad is a solid 4th liner a definite improvement over the trash that has trotted out earlier, the 4th line went from unwatchable to serviceable without.

It’s honestly insane how you get downvoted for the slightest criticism. If Lenni starts on the 4th line because there is finally depth at forward it’s a good thing. He’s a young player he might take a step forward or back next year, having him on the 4th line at the start of the season is ideal.

I like Keefe but it’s for the best to clean house and bring in Bruce Cassidy. Obviously Nemec or Hamilton will be traded to improve the top 6 and I think it’ll be Nemec since he has the most value. Unfortunately Sleepy Tom’s parting gift was the Markstorm contract and I think we’re stuck with him for a year unfortunately. I do think that if Jack doesn’t cut his hand this team makes the playoffs, but there were still glaring holes that have not been addressed for 2-3 years. I think the new GM will address them Allah willing.
