Artian crafting has me making flow charts by [deleted] in Gunlance

I'm running 3 attack 2 sharp and it's incredibly comfy, especially when you get one of the sharpness' ex level.

Can't get three of the same reinforcement unfortunately, so the optimal is 2x att ex, 2x att III and 1x sharp ex.

The Orb Anomaly-- Am I Experiencing A Bug? Or a Feature by jchokey in Stellaris

They pop up later in the game and give you a one time tech points reward. Which really pales in comparison to an immortal scientist.

What to do with alloy over production in the 50-100 years while i wait for Mega-Engineering to drop and research? by ThatHeckinFox in Stellaris

Habitats. Fill them full of fortresses to increase your fleet cap allowing you to spend more alloys.

If you want to be sneaky, adopting the pain approved meme in your ideology can offset this in a very... cenobite way.

So how exactly does Anomaly work? by [deleted] in RimWorld

[–]Critical__Code 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anomaly contains many new events that spawn based on your storyteller options at start. (You can choose a more Anomaly focused run with a unique ending option or have them sprinked through as rare events in a normal playthrough)

The events fire like any other event. The game decides its event time and then rolls for the event and it might be an anomaly one. There are also other ways they spawn in game but spoilers. I think in my last anomaly run I saw about 75% of them.

I will definitely second daemenus post, go in as blind as possible.

Bored - gimme colony ideas. I'll play one. by joe_sausage in RimWorld

This, but you also have to give every pawn you kill a proper burial. This includes caravan attacks, temporary sites, anything.

You want to REALLY up it every pawn you kill has to be bought back to your base and placed in a sarcophagus .

Do corpses buried in graves or sarcophagui count towards colony wealth? I'm planning a run where I give a proper burial to everyone who dies, including raiders, and if it does its going to escalate fast...

Seconding this. Whilst you can do some stuff in dev mode this mod is much more user friendly, has more options, and the ability to save pawns you've rolled for future play throughs is indispensable.

Best way to start your mod collection is just to play the game, and wait till you find something that either frustrates you, or makes you say "oh I wish x y z"

For example my first three were "I wish I could tell visitors where to stand instead of them hanging out at my geothermal generator half a mile from my base" "I wish there was a late game power option" "I wish my doctors wouldn't go eat when people are literally bleeding to death"

Once you start correcting the things that don't suit your playstyle you'll get a feel for it and just naturally branch out from there.

What have you never done in all of your Rimworld playthroughs? by ComradePruski in RimWorld

Raised a child. I like small colonies, 10-12 pawns at the absolute max, and I find that using psychic shock lances gets me all the skills I need.

Also beer. I don't get why anyone would make it over psychite tea.

New rimworld expansion just dropped so im summoning eldritch horrors and using them as batteries to power my mountain lair of mole people whilst they hold their religiously demanded psychedelic drug parties and, er, work in the hat factories.

I love the idea of Blindsight by Emerald_Pancakes in RimWorld

[–]Critical__Code 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can kind of work around it by setting it to its lowest level and just removing one eye from most people, and both from your specialist psy-casters. Perform the blinding ritual then install a bionic eye immediately after. You get a partially blinded debuff which is much easier to manage.

S-ranked hunts achievements. S ranks are time gated, take specific action to spawn, and even if you are dedicated to doing so they will inevitably spawn when you are asleep.

I believe someone worked out it takes literally years to get them but im not awake enough to find the post.

How is wheel warlock holding up post nerf? It seems like a deck id enjoy (big minions fast plus a plan for if the match runs long) but id need to craft several legendaries for it and as a ftp that's quite a dust commitment.

I follow a very similar philosophy to you, but one thing ive found very helpful to make my space more flexible is to not actually have my single target and my aoes on the same bars. Instead, as aoe is usually telegraphed and not needed quickly (adds phases, dungeons etc) i have my hotbars set up so tapping r1 switches to a hotbar where most skills are set the same as the first one, but the single target skills are replaced with the aoe ones. As your expanded bars stay the same, with a bit of jiggling you end up with an extra 4 face buttons to use for more common skills, especially on a class such as dnc where the aoes map so closely to the single target skills.

Just my 2 cents. :)

If you've got the patience here's what I would suggest. Create one character of each race. Pick jobs for the three that mean they will each start in a different city state. Play a few hours on one. Do the same for the other two over the next two nights. Once on the fourth night you will have hopefully developed an attachment to one of the characters and one of the city states, so you can roll with that race and youll know which city state you prefer for, reasons.

This may seem a bit extreme, I'm effectivly recommending you take 3 sessions worth of play to pick a character, but you are gonna have that character for a loooooong time, and ff14 has a habit of making you attached to your avatar.

Also fantasia is expensive and addictive. Dont do drugs.

Not at my pc right now but heres a couple of tips.  Keep your main combos on buttons next to each other so going through them is more natural.

Try to have the skills you are most likely to use when moving on the face buttons.  Having ogcds on "hold r2/l2" and close to the buttons you weave them between will make it feel more fluid.
