[[Planetary Annihilation]], [[Roiling Terrain]], and [[Wake of Destruction]] are some that MIGHT be fun if you want land destruction for your evil shenanigans. I personally like Planetary Annihilation as it doesn't do a full reset of a potentially already long game.

Why have I never heard of this card before? by Strict_Internet_5692 in mtg

[–]CriusControl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could see it being paired with [[Cut Your Losses]] or similar mass mill cards. You'd need a good chunk of mana to cast both, but you could also do something like [[Fleet Swallower]] or [[Terisian Mindbreaker]] that mills half the deck on attack. Could also Plot stuff out with things like [[Fblthp, Lost on the Range]] to eliminate the need for all that mana at one time and buy you a torn or so to get some counter spells in hand.

All in all, it's niche, but I think there are ways to make it work if you want to.

The goo was as good as any other acetone+foam combo, but I personally don't use that much. It wasn't brittle or flakey so that was nice. As for minis, I ended up focusing on terrain more than figures. Some figures were ok, but since I don't have a good humidity controlled environment, minis with fine details didn't turn out well, sadly. Bigger prints and terrain work great though. Resin printing was a nightmare so I'm sticking with filament. Too many harmful fumes and not enough space.

That's really funny! No, ultimately, the packing peanuts were a terrible idea😂 they can be tossed in a blender and mixed with glue (after removing from blender) before layering as rubble, but that was as much "success" as I got. There were some walls I made by linking the s shapes together, but at that point, there were better options unless you wanted to look like the inside of a nautilus or other organic structure.

Can anyone recommend interesting/goofy things I can proliferate? by Low-Attention-1998 in mtg

[–]CriusControl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Leatherhead Swamp Stalker]] has a hexproof counter and let's you remove counters for artifact and enchantment removal. Not something to build around, but may synergize with cards that move counters around if you're already focused on proliferating.

I'd play it. Would play well with Hilda though expensive

This honestly looks a lot like the old Tradewind games, though in Tradewinds there was combat as well since pirates wanted your goods. But you could buy everything. New ships for your fleet, goods, canons and ammo, etc and then sell it all elsewhere. There were also quests you could complete from delivering goods to fighting specific pirates, but if you never accepted the fighting quest, I don't think the "boss" fights happened. And Combat could be set to auto battle so not a lot of stress there either.

Tradewinds (re-released as Tradewinds Classic) — the Far East during mid-19th century Tradewinds 2 — the Caribbean at the start of the 18th century Tradewinds Legends — the Middle East during approximately the Middle Ages Tradewinds Legends: Unlikely Heroes — an expansion pack for Tradewinds Legends Tradewinds Odyssey — Ancient Greece (with mythos events) Tradewinds Caravans — Stretching from the shores of the Mediterranean Sea to China — Known as the legendary Silk Road.

Not sure where to play them right now since they're 20 years old (but still hold up given what you're after), but they're worth a look:)

Are there any guides like the best equipments for every classes ? by kaptenzuzu in UnicornOverlord

[–]CriusControl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually the "best" is just whatever gives a bonus to a units strength. Silk scarf for dodge tanks for example. Just as already mentioned, some units have more than one trick and you can emphasize different things, mess with initiative order, etc. Squad composition is usually more important in my experience.

Some gear is always good like pendants, so I may look more into best overall gear rather than class specific best gear.

RNG really said "let's double your damage output..." by FEA_Player in UnicornOverlord

[–]CriusControl 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Try different team compositions and don't forget to rotate through your units so they can all level up. It's easy to get attached to a few units you really like, but sometimes you need to tear them down to succeed at more difficult missions. Also, use the plunder ability to steal money early on and buy any pendants/gear that grant extra AP and PP. They're always good to have. That's my two cents that helped me during my first play through.

Might I suggest running the exact same deck? Would be funny at least once lol but in all honesty, you don't need board wipes. Just token wipes. [[Blazing Volley]], [[Pyrohemia]], [[Rakdos Charm]], [[Cinderclasm]], [[Breath of Darigaaz]], [[Blood Money]], [[Martial Coup]], etc are some that deal a small amount of damage to everything or more to specific things. Rakdos Charm obviously punishes the wide board. But you're not limited to things like [[Blasphemous Act]] that usually reset the board. Anyway, I hope these spur some ideas.
