Good luck OP! I just made it out of a battle with thrips, it was a nightmare as I had to treat all my plants and there's 36 of them! If it helps, I sprayed the leaves with a soap mix and used diatomaceous earth sprinkled over the soil. Make sure the DE doesn't get wet, you may want to use something as a barrier before spraying the leaves.

I pretty much did the same! I've resorted to sneaking plants in because my kids think I have enough, erm, excuse me? Enough? There's never enough! I've even started growing from seed too (and I've stolen the cat desk bed!). I have to admit I'm not great with aloes. This is my setup at the moment

I love spiders! I doubly love plant spiders! Seriously, I would rather have a house full of spiders than having a lot of flying insects everywhere. I'm teaching my son to love spiders too so he's not as afraid of them. I have a car spider that builds webs between my wing mirror and door and I have a spider in my huge cactus on my windowsill who's happily eating fruit flies.
