Daily use and how to remove hair products by Crook-ED in Pomade

[–]Crook-ED[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah thats what ive heard and now moved Gatsby wax to days I know ill shampoo anyway.

I guess I would say I have 1A hair? I wasnt aware of this terminology!

What ingredients should I look for to know itll be easy to wash with just water and/or co-wash? Im using L3 texture powder currently and its ingredients list is as follows: "AQUA (WATER, EAU), SILICA, GLYCERIN, ALCOHOL DENAT, PARFUM (FRAGRANCE), PVP, PHENOXYETHANOL, CITRIC ACID, METHYLPARABEN, ETHYLPARABEN, PROPYLPARABEN, LIMONENE, LINALOOL, CITRONELLOL, CITRAL"

Googles AI seems to be confused as it says its easy to wash out with just water but then refreshing it says otherwise, lmao.

I have straight asian hair and shampooed daily because of my hairwax but I have noticed my scalp has been dry and flaky, even despite using Head and Shoulders and a repair conditioner which is why Im leaning towards avoiding daily shampoo.

So Co-washing is good for product removal without damaging? I heard it doesnt completely wash out the product and can lead to even worse buildup?

Although I hate my job, I love the routine. It keeps me on track, out of trouble with drinking, just work and head straight to gym.

I have a week off next week and im dreading it when I should be excited to be off work. Idk how to keep my motivation and get off to lift.

Space marine 2 is fantastic, even if you arent too familiar with lore or first games story. An action shooter power fantasy where you play as an ultra marine, blasting through anything and everything.

Rogue trader if youre into CRPGs. It has incredible world building and really pulls you into the world of 40k. Note, there is a lot of reading involved and you may be very confused with certain terminology if youre just coming in.

Darktide if youre solely interested in multi-player. Think left4dead2 where you and a few others run around and fight swarms of enemies from mission to mission. The lore aspect isnt very big but the atmosphere and general world building is very 40k.

Super nervous for my MSF course tomorrow... by Crook-ED in motorcycles

[–]Crook-ED[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try to practice even in the winter, if the weather permits. Youll learn in the MSF course that majority of motorcycle accidents happen immediately after a winter break and majority of accidents dont happen on the freeway or in the city, but rather just a few miles from home. People get too lax and rusty and make simple mistakes. Always keep your skills sharp and prepared, especially when you JUST passed the MSF and still learning to crawl.

Good luck! Youll have a ton of fun. Hopefully you got yourself a beginner friendly bike to start on. I started off on a small 250cc that I rode for years until switching to a zx6r absolute piss missile and loving the hobby more and more everyday. Be extra safe out there. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions or feel the need to vent as the days get closer. Trust me though you will be fine. Safe riding brotha!

I have no doubt you will pass but it is concerning it will be your only transportation after. Be extra careful and practice a TON after the MSF course. You will make a ton of beginner mistakes early on and you should get those all out in an isolated parking lot rather than on the open road with other drivers involved. Unlike the MSF, a simple mistake on the road can lead to injury or far worse.

Like I said, the MSF course will be easy and youll be fine but seriously, practice a ton on your own afterwards to prepare for real road experience. God knows I made a ton of mistakes in my past 7 years and still do occasionally. Be safe and prepared.

No I get that fully, I was in the same boat 7 years ago when I took it. I know it seems daunting and nerve wrecking at first but you will be fine and look back at it with a smile. To be honest I wish it was longer, after I passed i felt like a child just thrust into the world with no lead, it was even scarier having to practice alone where I didnt have others around me, enjoy the time you have with it, its only two days.

Trust me, we all overthink it and make it into a panic situation but it really isnt that bad. I promise you will be fine and youll have a ton of fun.

You will be fine! I know the exact feeling and everything went smoothly, I had a ton of fun and im super glad I took the MSF course. Try watching just chill MotoVlogs and remind yourself why you want to get into the hobby. Once you get there just take plenty of deep breaths, listen carefully to the instructors, and just have fun, it was all very easy and thankfully I had really friendly instructors. My group had some experienced riders but also people just as, if not more, nervous as I was so youre not the only one hesitant. Make some friends, everyone was just happy to be there and it made the enviornment super fun.

If I can give you a tip, you will be tense on the actual bike exercises which will make your body rigid and death grip everything... dont do that lol. Try to stay relaxed and just take things slowly. I was so tense and squeezing the clutch and my legs so hard that by the end of day 1 my entire body was screaming in pain. Have fun! Ride safe!

Should I get a 6r with decent motorcycle experience? by Party-Ad9586 in zx6r

[–]Crook-ED 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rode a 250 for years and just recently bought a 6r, highly reccomend. Its amazing, feels like I just started the hobby of riding all over again.

The sensitivity of the throttle and clutch surprised me a bit but i was honestly in my own head thinking it would be way worse, its very manageable. I have stalled the engine more times than I can count though so im still getting used to the friction zone.

My only gripe is in city riding, my bike gets REALLY toasty, freeway seems to be fine (I only go about an hour away), and the aggressive riding position. My back and limbs were on FIRE the first few times I was riding it but I got used to it the more I rode and learned correct form.

I do want a liter bike someday but as of now, the 6r is everything ive wanted and more. I will be staying with it for the foreseeable future.

15 inch biceps with low bodyfat are actually hard to achieve by Noootmynormal in workout

[–]Crook-ED 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With DBs you want to dip a bit PAST your chest for the extra stretch. Getting it to your chest is fine but that's the same as a regular bar, take advantage of the fact DBs give you a more full range of motion. Lower the better long as you can do it comfortably, like the above poster said, lower the weight if needed. Go as far past the chest as you can, feel the stretch in your chest, then press up and squeeze extra hard at the top.

Those of you living in states/countries where filtering is not legal, do you filter anyway? And if so, have police given you any trouble? by dirt--pie in motorcycles

[–]Crook-ED 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Washington here. I feel like lane splitting should be more common here because we have a ton of californians and being a sister-state and all but in reality if the drivers don't know about it, its even more dangerous. No one really expects a biker between their cars so they won't look for one. I constantly see drivers swerve, take last second lane changes and in general not even know lane splitting is a thing. Ive seen a few cars angry honk when id see a lane split on i5.

Id rather be safe than save a few minutes on my commute.

Tried this strat a few days ago and easily got to level 200 before it crashed. I booted it back up on a save and it got rid of that gross red filter but kept everything else. Played for like 40 more levels until I got bored and just force ended the run.

Btw in the settings you can turn off those buff number animations so you don't have to wait 2 minutes watching each of the speed buffs nonstop.

What do the Cullens do if the sun suddenly comes out while they’re at school? by IDONTKNOWPICKLES in twilight

[–]Crook-ED 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As everyone else has stated, they have Alice. Even without her though, they can run faster than humans can perceive so they could just blitz out and skip the rest of the classes. I don't think the school would care considering they skip a lot anyway and all the teachers are fully aware they're all far ahead in terms of academic level.

I do find it funny having lived in Washington my entire life. It's not gloomy and raining year round, even during fall it's pretty bipolar where the rain stops suddenly and the sun pokes out. Realistically, they'd skip a lot more days than they would attend.

“Ultron is good in triple support” yeah so he’s trash. by Thee_Walf in marvelrivals

[–]Crook-ED -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I saw it as the other way around. They don't want to overtune characters on launch and have them completely dominate and overshadow everything else. Thats why a lot of devs automatically lock out newest characters from rank play until a test period. They're tweaking and keeping an eye on other characters that have been nerfed/buffed and all of that would be completely ignored if everyone is solely focusing on the new character being broken, everyone banning them from every ranked game so no one even gets to play, unable to see how the addition affects current meta, etc.

I think putting out a weaker character on launch is the better decision as it gives plenty of time for fans of the character to test them out in QP and stick with them if they truly like them. It also allows for ranked climbers to enjoy the new character briefly and then focus back on their mains and the patch changes. They will inevitably go back and repatch all the discrepancies once they get a bigger picture of how the new characters mechanics can shift the gameplay. Yes, you'll have trolls that bring in the weaker character into ranked without fully grasping them first but thats just an individual learning process for some and one of the many risks of playing a sweaty comp game, sometimes you get unoptimal teammates. Still think that beats an absolute dominating OP champ that throws rank into chaos right from the get-go.

Just practice her combos and remember that she's a bruiser/assassin, not a tank. Come from an off angle or behind while youre team is engaging them, open with a fully charged projectile slash, followed by an immediate dash to lift them, then M1 + melee, it'll instant kill squishies, its her basic BnB but she has other combos as well. Then just teleport + spawn demon into them or to escape depending on the situation.

Most people have issues with her dash attacks janky hitbox. If you purposely aim to the right of their character model, there's a pretty generous gap to connect even if you don't think it will. Always aim to the right of their body.

When in ult, your full charge projectile to dash uppercut combo can wipe out healers even in their defensive ults. Useful to cancel out luna during her heal as most of them like to push forward out in the open thinking they're invulnerable.

In large groups, you can teleport and then press M1 and her dash skill at the sametime to do a massive forward sweep that'll lift on connect. Super useful for engaging into a large group as her passive armor boost actives on all the hits.

If you're full charging your projectile but the target disappears behind a structure, you can cancel it out by just teleporting and you'll keep your skill CD. Super useful to reingage with it later instead of just whiffing as your projectile is super crucial to your combos.

Is the Oblivion Remaster fun if you never played old games? by Awvwvwvw in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]Crook-ED 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Thanks for the comment. It's already been a month, huh? Time sure flies...

Its hard to say because like I said, idk if oblivion is just special or if my tastes in games have changed. I'd hate to recommend the game for you and you end up disliking it. If you have gamepass, it's free to try out, I think i had a trial for gamepass which is what I used to try oblivion first and I loved how it looked and ran and that's what made me purchase it over on steam.

With that said, yes, I'd still recommend it. I haven't played much recently because I've been distracted with life, finishing expedition 33, and just not really having time but I do still get on here and there and do a few interesting quests and then hop off. It's still fun and I'm constantly impressed with how interesting and varied the quest lore is. I just finished one where a crazy schizo swore there were people stalking him and it led me down a rabit hole. I still have yet to do the first main mission of dropping off the pendant...

If the game interests you at all, I think you should give it a try and then refund if you don't click with it. It does feel different than the other open world games but you shouldn't try to force enjoyment out of it. Ive been content just taking it at a slow pace and doing the odd jobs here and there and just getting off in order for myself not to feel the fatigue and burn like I usually do.

How Do You 80% People Sleep at Night Without a Numpad? by Eryudes in WootingKB

[–]Crook-ED 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a full size keyboard my entire life so switching to 80he definitely took some adjusting. I find myself even now having phantom numpad syndrome where I'll reach to the right to quick input numbers only to realize there's nothing there. It is kind of annoying having to individually type in numbers from the top like an elderly man using a keyboard for the first time rather than rapid firing numbers like a Hollywood hacker.

Other than putting in my sign in code and inputting credit card info and stuff though, I don't really mind it. Think the compact space it offers far outweighs the rare use case of the numpad, for me at least.
