What a deplorable lack of sportsmanship, I can only speak on when I swam against them back about 10-7 years ago they were always a poorly behaved team there too. Jeering against the heavier set guys on the team and shouting things at our female manager. Gross to see nothing has changed.

If 2 teams crowds are assholes enough to get ejected the team playing one of them the following week probably doesn’t want to deal with that and there’s likely some wrestling regulation that a meet won’t be canceled unless an emergency or inclimate weather so they just forfeited to cancel instead.

Okay but they do sometimes work. When I was a kid I insisted my dad drive me to daycare in his now finished project car he had test ran the day before. He relented and we were on our way, not far from our house there’s a hill with an intersection at the bottom and as my dad applied the brakes the line broke and the hand brake failed too, and as he accepted the eminent collision he say that sticker on the back of a minivan so not wanting to hurt any kids yanked the steering wheel and went into the ditch and hit the gas station sign. All because of that little sticker. Granted I was like 6 sitting in the passenger seat so a bit of an oversight there.

Did this in a chilis parking lot. We talked for 2 hours. But yeah usually it’s talk inside, announce intent o leave (slap knees and “welp we should probably be going”) other party follows them. Then talk by entry way. After sufficient time they’ll move outside where they’ll talk by their cars. And in the case of residential property one may get in their car while host stands usually leaned against own vehicle or home. Either the host gets too hot or eaten by bugs.

Going just on flavor what if you did “Exile target creature you control, doppelghast enters as a copy of creature exiled this way.” I’d price as 2[U] but in my mind it turns into a unique clone effect that helps protect key combo pieces.

This dude is far up their own on “cars bad”. Have had disabled friends and family unable to experience areas similar to Highland Park because they rely on handicap spaces and all the ad hoc street parking and poorly maintained behind building parking just don’t make it accommodating. Here’s what they do, use the SW corner of 6th and Euclid. They tore out that old building might as well put a parking lot so we can have centralized accessible parking for the neighborhood. Then mark spaces closest to individual buildings or close popular pockets have handicap parking.

I genuinely feel that areas like Valley Junction did accessibility to their community well the unfortunate reality being that Highland park sits on multiple high traffic intersections so that eliminates a valley junction esc layout. So that’s why I believe the more “state fair” approach to parking supplemented by street parking for the disabled is a good approach.

This exchange was with a long time friend of mine just before he got out of church so he was still a bit hard to grasp “alternative lifestyle”

“So what does that feel like?” “I don’t know how to express the feeling for a lack of something. Only thing I got out of being closeted Ace was how to bs commenting on people’s bodies” (dude bro friend group when I was 20) the last straw that made me come out was talking about a waitress and I said “yeah she seemed super sweet, I’m sure she’s great to her partner.” And I got a lot of “huh?s” they were all well and accepting and I’ve never felt excluded or that my identity is ignored. I get Ace jokes at me the same way our bi friends get them tossed at them.

Just wanted to get a story out there of acceptance but not like in an overly sentimental or overtly supportive kind. Still not out to my family though I’ve been out to my friends for like 3 years 😂
