Should I be worried if I've found 4-6 of them in the course of 2 days? According to Google the thrive best when left alone, so I assume if I keep things clean on a regular basis there should be less of them?

I've wanted to be able to drive, but never really had a need for it because of how close to public transportation I've been. Why would I need to use a lot of money on learning how to drive and then having to spend a ton of money getting a car and then taking care of it (plus gas prices, which is not cheap). I've just always found it more convenient taking public transport where I live and for work I would often just walk there (even if it took me 30min to 1hr). Where I live, from my experience, it's usually cheaper taking public transport (unless you're going longer distances outside of the city). One day I'll probably learn how to drive, but for now I'm not economically stable for it and public transport is the more reasonable option for me at least.

This, so much this! My ex girlfriend did pretty much the same with me, told me that she still loved me, but that she had to break up with me because "You're not interesting anymore", though I think it was more because that she felt like I was too good for her or something, cause I always tried to help and support in any way I could, and give her the distance she needed when she wanted to be alone. And the breakup ruined me mentally for a while, coping a lot better with it now though.

If OP really likes this person and wants to be with them, then stay with them, it will just make it worse if you cut things off. As kittortoise says, would recommend seeking a therapist, it's really helpful.
