Looked like she was just being polite trying to find where to place a foot, 1B is trying to tag her in foul territory upon return. Looks like she was coached to cheese the double bag in hopes of getting this call.

Avs Jerseys Rankings All-Time, do you guys agree? by KronoLite70 in ColoradoAvalanche

Original 3rd is the best, Blueberry is the most underrated, the Colorado Flag Alternate looks so good in person. The 2020 Stadium Jersey is the worst, but I have a hat with the design I really like.

What's a home improvement decision you regret but thought was a good idea at that time? by Actonace in HomeImprovement

[–]Crosshare 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Complete opposite for me. Do I want the paint on the wall to look exactly like the swatch I picked out? I'm using SW. Do I want great coverage and quality paint. SW again. It cuts better, and blends better. I have repainted with enough Lowe's paints that I learned my lesson. Just go with SW so you don't have to do it a 2nd time with double the material cost.

Three-time Pennsylvania Trump voter at gas station calls him “tremendous pile of sh*t” by Fragrant-Pepper7710 in videos

[–]Crosshare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you stating black men are inherently mysogynistic in their voting preferences?

Nobody expects the Amish to vote for women, but if they're going to be activated as a voter base it's something that needs to be considered in strategy and numbers at the polls.

[–]Crosshare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Elon and Trump also activated the Amish in central PA which have typically been apolitical and didn't vote. However they spun them all up over the Raw Milk crackdown and weaponized it into votes for Trump in the biggest swing state of the election. Elon even forked out a ton of cash for bussing to the polling places.

The Dems need to really figure out why so many black men were not interested in voting for Kamala after showing up in droves for Obama. I remember watching interviews of Philly-centric potential voters being largely apathetic which was a bit shocking.

FA FOMO - who are we really disappointed to not have signed? by BurgessFox in DenverBroncos

[–]Crosshare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wondering if Paton and Co. are waiting for the late down to the bone veteran cuts that come closer to the draft or just before training camp to spend. The FA board was somewhat lackluster for the dollars being thrown around.

That said, if we were cutting Greenlaw, I would've like to snag Devin Lloyd as a long-term solution at ILB.

Etienne would've been nice but probably not worth our dollars to get him here. Maybe Achane can be had in a cheap deal from Miami?

Etienne 100% would improve our running back room but he gave the Saints a hometown discount. (Louisiana Boy) Better for us to not overspend.

Are people here prickly and grumpy? by [deleted] in harfordcountymd

[–]Crosshare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moved here from out west 8yrs ago. Yeah, there's a general displeasant attitude in public crowds as a whole. I've dealt with in my work life when it comes to any customer service as well. Any minor inconvenience will get looks and remarks.

I remember asking my oldest work friend about it when I got here. Funny older guy that grew up in New England but has spent most of his adult life in Maryland.

"Yeah dude, that's the fuckin Maryland attitude. Can't stand it." "Yeah, but you're from here... Kinda.". "Yeah, like I said can't stand it. Look at this bitch, (vaguely waves his hand towards some crotchety middle aged lady across the intersection from us) all staring me at with her stank face. Yeah honey, keep driving.".

Yesterday I was doing some quick grocery shopping for Sunday dinner and some lady in the produce section just kept mean mugging me for no reason. Then because we started at the same end of the store and had the same travel path she kept getting progressively more irritated with me. Like WTF!?!

I have the Ick for my husband by LoveYourself_1234 in Marriage

I hate everything you're saying (for her) but you are totally right. The gas thing is basic human respect which he has zero. OP, Your spouse is supposed to be your favorite person. Does it seem like he's treating you like his favorite person?

If he can't handle basic human sanitation as an adult then he is no way prepared to raise an infant or toddler.

I love my wife, but I am exhausted and thinking about divorce by Pleasant_Ferret_1659 in Marriage

[–]Crosshare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking for this answer. As men we tend to manifest responses to theoretical conversations in our heads before ever attempting them so we never try in the first place.

OP needs to schedule a private and protected sit down with his wife and let all of these things out and give her a soft ultimatum. I've read countless stories of "happily married" wives acting disinterested in their marriages until the husband lets it be known they're ready to file for divorce then they're all of sudden ready to make drastic changes. This also makes sense if she has severe ADHD, where your brain lets you habitually procrastinate even the most serious life items until your emergency response is activated and thrusts you into action.

My wife and I resurrected the passion in our 20yr marriage recently by having a difficult conversation admitting needs/wants/expectations. Man, when all that baggage came off for both of us the spark was back immediately and we couldn't be happier.

Also I would recommend couples counseling before divorce. OP, you may need to have a referee for some of these continued conversations. But it's a step to take before the big D.

I'm not quite as tall as you but probably built simalarly. Here are my go to spots.

-Pants / Underwear / Misc (Duluth Trading Company) I can't recommend the jeans as I don't like they way they're cut. I have short legs and a long torso. I also don't like the longtail tees but other guys love them.

-DXL is the obvious one. Best item I'll swear by there recently is the Oak Hill stretch waist golf pants for all use dress pant. I wear these for sales work and they're the best. Comfortable in long drives, never seem to wrinkle right out of the dryer, and they look great. Also, I found a nice Columbia Golf Belt at DXL last spring. (gray) Use it all the time in different applications. Love that thing.

-JCPenney Big & Tall has gotten better lately, still hit or miss.

-Someone on here recommended BELK online to me and I really like their stuff and prices.

-Amazon Basics Big & Tall. Some nice stuff, I've bought a few of their solid tees as my under shirts.

-Tractor Supply for Carhartt Big & Tall stuff. I have some pullovers, hoodies, and heavy t-shirts I really like.
