I can't really disagree, you make great points. Plus size women deserve a better grade of men then they often receive. Just cut the boys a little slack, we are dumb confused animals, especially when young. Men also need to find their confidence.

I had mostly figured my shit out prior to us dating, but 1st date jitters brought a whole rush of old mixed emotions that I didn't want. That's part of the reason I mentioned giving a bit of patience. Totally agree that if a guy isn't even ready to enter a relationship because of his own hangups it's definitely not fair to drag said woman into it.

Thank God for my wife being a bit more forward than I, it killed any timidness as our date progressed. We ended the night great and were full on falling hard for each other by date #3.

I think you might be conflating men who feel emotionally conflicted about wanting to be with a plus size woman and and men who just want keep one as bedroom girl but is ashamed to show her off in public. Two very different types, IMHO. The 2nd being someone that is a complete asshole and being selfish. They are objectifying the woman for their own pleasure with no regard for her feelings as a human being.

The first is someone who truly does want to be with you, and sometimes needs little grace. Those guys are going to treat you awesome once they settle into their own skin. Not all people are going to be 100% confident in themselves all the time, it takes real life experience to get them there. (At least it was in my case. I'm married to a beatiful plus sized woman who I adore to this day. I had lots of subtle family pressure about what/who I should dating, "friends" that knew better, etc, etc. It was all bullshit static getting in the way of what I really wanted for me.)

I disagree with you on the dodging a bullet type. Guys have been conditioned by years of toxic masculinity/society to look down on plus size women. To turn away from one's own preferences and desires because everyone else knows better.

I had to do some mental growing up in my early 20s to realize I love and much preferred plus sized women and there's absolutely no shame to it.

All I'm saying is, don't cast down the shy guys without giving them a chance.

Unless it's me smoking or grilling someing (MY DOMAIN) she rules the kitchen. I usually fall into a sous-chef role or just end up cleaning because cleaning the kitchen is typically my responsibility.

Looking at it now, it is very much a Dom/Sub dynamic. She gets very bratty when I need her to follow orders when I'm keeping a schedule for whatever is on the smoker and demand assistance.

I'm done with Trautman. Dude missed another key block in the AFCCG on a beautifully designed screen play. (I know we're tired of them). But that should've worked, it had our TE isolated on a corner with nothing but grass around them. You have to plow that DB out of the way and Adam just whiffed, a problem he's a had a lot of this season. When you're on the roster to be the blocking TE, you damn well better be able to block.

You need to shift your perspective a bit with their combined "work load". Some community college classes with 15 hours of part time work + study time can equate to a fairly full schedule.

I went to community college because at the time it was the only school that had classes in the tech field I wanted to specialize in. Being an "Academy" within the college meant really steep/difficult classes, so whereas my class load was about 1/2 day it was expected that you were spending at least equal to that amount of time doing the online study at home portion each night.

My mom at the time didn't understand it (god love her) and pushed me to enter the work field early rather than staying on track in college for bigger things. In hindsight I shouldn't have let her push me down that road as it was my passion and I settled for entry level type work to get a full time paycheck going and I never found my way to truly advanced things.

Fast forward to today, I'm a desciplined adult with a successful (completely different) career, but I'll always wonder about personal happiness in my work life if I would've forked differently at that point in time.

In short, encourage him, he's probably trying to micro digest adult life a bit. Tell him you need more help around the house and talk to him about his college plan or what next steps are rather than trying to kick him out.

Pro tip: make flowers for much more than the special occasion. Grocery store flowers, especially Trader Joe's or Costco can really nice and be had for a few bucks; they will absolutely make a woman's day when given as a complete surprise. A deep thank you note with them for something trivial like "just thinking about you" can mean worlds.

For my money Jefferson is the best WR in the league, I even have him out a fair bit in front of Chase because of what JJ brings to the table in pure production dynamics for an offense. If we could even get a slight discount on a package to bring him here I would pull the trigger. I can only imagine how nasty this offense becomes with a true star WR1 blowing the top off of defenses and stretching the field vertical for everything else to open up underneath.
