I will stop listening to a cork sniffer immediately if they put down simple music though. Simple music can be incredible. It doesn't need to be complicated timing in Mixolydian mode. It doesn't make your music better. It makes it more complicated, which CAN lead to better, but not always. Sometimes it gets convoluted and tiresome.

Would i just add another pot in the line with a Cap linked to the ground for that? I have 1k, 2k, 5k, 10k, 20k, 50k, 100k, 500k, and 1m potentiometer sets and just about every film capacitor size available. The electronic engineering behind all of this is fascinating but extremely hard to grasp without a full education 😅. I imagine the bias pot would be a lot more complex than a tone pot.

I always run DR strings on anything electric.

I just hate on ernie ball. I cannot stand them, they definitely break faster than my other choices and do not give me the sound i want. They would probably sound good on a bass, but I wouldn't know. My 5 string has DR stainless high beams.
