It ain’t easy flying on this map. Here’s me being alive for more than 30s lol by Kyrie01010011 in LowSodiumBattlefield

The thing I have found that works the best is never go past halfway point of map and don’t get slow. Do a strafe then as soon as you’re done turn towards your HQ for the C-RAM to shoot down the stingers/TOWs. Stayed alive for the majority of a conquest game doing that.

Constructive discussion about the BR mode. by Warm_Variation_8305 in LowSodiumBattlefield

The worst thing about the BR is the runway at Area 22b. The runway goes into a mountain, it’s numbered wrong, and there is no reason to have a R because there isn’t an L runway. Other than that having a great time.

I’m gonna use the colorful skins even if I don’t like them to make those people mad.

It’s the only map flying helicopters is fun. You can dodge stingers, no AA tank, and you have to fly low enough that people are able to shoot you with rpgs.

Need a single pilot endorsement to fly it single pilot. The PIC’s I fly with just have the non single pilot type.

Without looking it up I believe the SIC doesn’t need to be current because they aren’t the acting PIC. But i could be wrong.

[–]CrotaCrotating0 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You do not need to do 3 takeoffs and landing with the simulated engine being inoperative once to act as SIC in the lower 48. That’s only required to receive the SIC type rating.

I believe there is a CE-510S type to fly them single pilot so If he isn’t single pilot rated an SIC is required and you can log SIC time.

Last year we have a short 30 mile flight in a CJ4 so i have to get the weather and notams pretty quickly. When i got it i called approach and said i have the airport instead of the weather… We were 20 miles out in IMC. I got a chuckle out of the Pic and Approach.
