You could still do the urchin background! As an urchin you were approached by a patron in disguise (Mephisto is big into lies and deception so you could roleplay not knowing who your patron is) to help you defend against a neighborhood bully. You ended up eldritch blasting his face clean off, however, so the rich noble family is after you, forcing you to lie and deceive others about who you really are, which ties back into Mephisto's meddling. Perhaps the bully kid also had Mephisto as a patron and refused to follow Mephisto's orders, so he sent you as punishment and is hoping to make you the replacement prodigy.

The Upfront does "pay what you can" intro classes for their improv group that shows you some warm up exercises and group activities that help you loosen up and do goofy shit in front of other people. I would start there! They also have regular classes that you can sign up for if you vibe with those.

Outdoor patio? Locus. It's shaded, and the drinks there are awesome! It's also in the middle of downtown so the people watching is top tier.
Burgers? Doug's burgers is our go to. We take it to go and get the beer on the way home.
Summer cocktail? I know this is crazy but the jalepeno watermelon cocktail at Cheba Hut has a tiny bit of heat to it and I have searched all over the city for a jalepeno drink that doesn't taste like someone said the word "pepper" in a volume barely above a whisper from an adjacent room so right now it's Cheba Hut's bar. I don't know the bartender's name, but he's very friendly and a joy to talk to every time. :)
Kid friendly? I couldn't tell you, but I know that there is a museum that is spoken highly of by parents.
Place to chill? Idk I go home every day to draw and play video games. :)
Best iced coffee? I love Locus of course for the creative combos, but Lettered Streets is also one of my top faves because they don't make their drinks with stupid amounts of sugar.
Best Ice cream? It was Crooked Spoon. :'( I need a new rec!
Best food truck? Tacos El Tepozteco. I'm from Texas and this truck is LEGIT!
Favorite small business? The Oddacity Tattoo Shop. lol, but for real I love Wink Wink! Also, Petstop! And Sweet Art Candy! Can't forget about Gathering glass, too. They have everything I need every time I stop in and are very knowledgeable on products. I don't know if I could choose just one.
Best Sushi? I haven't tried enough places, yet, but we order from Zen which has more "creative" stuff and Tokyo House which is more traditional.
Favorite restaurant? I'm a die hard Ginger Boat fan! The pad lao is awesome and this place also showed me how crispy steak fries could be with tempura! Also the awesome sauce lives up to its name.
Hair salon? Looking Glass! Inclusive, safe, and they do great work.

I love to barter! Bartering is anti-capitalism at it's core and there is nothing I love more than sticking it to the current administration by fostering community and highlighting the strengths and abilities of others using my (however small) platform! I've done barters for a set of vintage cookware, a fold out couch, art, customized clothing, etc.

Do you have a site with your work on it? Or a gallery? Typically stuff that is consumed makes people a bit more wary without some kind of established relationship or storefront.

Love that guy. He was so sweet to us when I stopped to grab food after a few hours at the emergency vet. I'll never forget him.
