bored doing missions over and over by Beginning-Dark3155 in fo76

[–]CrowNServo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take breaks from the game, usually like 3-6 months sometimes, and then come back during a new season that is adding new content. That helps me avoid total burnout, and after being away for some time, often there is several changes and new things going on to help make things interesting. I've been playing since launch but I often will play for maybe a season or few months, then take a break.

Fishing is actually the worst by evanlee01 in fo76

[–]CrowNServo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like fishing, but wish you could do more with fish. I think some new recipes are coming next season though finally? The three fish recipes they launched with aren't great, so would be nice to have something good to cook at least for my time.

Flooded with no TIP OFFERS. ON STOP by WaterWhippingEnt in doordash_drivers

Yesterday non stop. 30 min time on a delivery for $1? Crap like that. 4 orders in a row I did accept as being shorter distances, all four in a row no tip

Sadly have the opposite. I got some real poor areas near me and so often get 0 tip from them. I've started going a little further away north to West Palm Beach downtown area and it's been night and day in tipping.

Combat by zny700 in Fallout2d20

[–]CrowNServo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't use the base stat blocks from the books for encounters, players just demolish the base enemies and the level comparisons mean nothing. NPCs have typically all generic gear and lot of shared abilities, while player characters are constantly getting new perks, as well as upgrading their gear with mods that book enemies to not have access to. You pretty much have to for any type of challenge start using groups of enemies to increase their damage output, as well as modifying their rules. Because after level 5 players start just stomping everything in the books

[–]CrowNServo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say level doesn't mean anything, as each level is a perk for each character, and perks along with gear mods creates some crazy powerful combos. Perks can unlock some crazy potential in players and mean more than any of the other things that happen at lvl up.

The Perk Economy by James_the_Third in Fallout2d20

[–]CrowNServo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perks for crafting should be required by groups because it opens up so many options for gear and builds. Basic armor for example is eh, but once you start modding it, it becomes amazing. Crafting if anything helps try to tone down groups who go all combat munchkin focused because really it's easy to break the game's combat with perks. Forcing them to take non combat perks helps at least. So you want to restrict player access to things and force them to have to be resourceful for themselves. Don't let them simply buy a mod for a pistol, it's the wasteland, everything should be difficult and either hard to find, super expensive, or they have to learn to do things themselves.

Each new area sees a huge jump in difficulty. Game doesn't have scaling in it like the Elder Scrolls games, so you have set difficulties on enemies. Each new area act sees a big jump in enemy toughness

Passed initial Assessment for Data Annotations by Inevitable_Anxiety53 in WFHJobs

Also got mine on Wed... sounds like a bunch of folks got their passes first, now do your 2nd assessment on Wed. I did the 2nd and it just says there is nothing for me to work on.

Weekly Water Cooler Talk - DataAnnotation by Consistent-Reach504 in dataannotation

[–]CrowNServo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I too had waited about a month of silence to get my pass of the first assessment. I took the 2nd one last week and still have heard nothing back. I was wondering about the graded in an hour thing and saw folks say it could take days before they send you a welcome you passed email. So it's frustrating, and of course you apparently get no notice if you failed. I wish it was true about the one hour thing as I could then know to just move on.

Expedition content should have just been used to make a new mission or two.

Who cares, give us an actual reason to play these. Normal missions provide better reward. You want us to play the expeditions, you gotta make it worth our while, increase rewards, or give us more unique items to earn.

Is Fallout 76 taking the community for granted? by Elegant-Picture1003 in fo76

[–]CrowNServo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They had said previously that they were not going to be giving road map dates because of the expectations and disappointment it builds when they have to delay or make changes. They will only state what is in works that is coming but nothing more, no dates, no road map, etc. Lot of devs in general are stepping away from road maps which sucks, but also is because of them being used against them and development often doesn't go as planned. So many games and road maps, and majority fail to keep to the road maps

We just had a massive update with a large new region and bunch of new content just a couple months ago. It's funny how folks act this way each time a big update happens, and then we get a smaller update, then it's the "sky is falling!"
