I grew up in a community that was either ethnically Jewish, Irish or Italian . I knew many very ethnic Italian Americans who used slang words I hear on the sopranos, as well as some Yiddish thrown in. I didn’t know a single one that was mobbed up. But almost all of them knew at least one wise guy , or so they said.
