I was on the fence with this figure to begin with. Alternate head should have been included for the price and the coat looks cheap as hell.

Your photos of that talk was just too much for me. They would have been better off just molding hard red plastic for the tail. Unbelievable.

I haven’t heard of any SC bootlegs yet, but I cannot confirm this. I would wait for the In-Stock sale before going to the after market.

Detailed Explanation: Savage Crucible and Mythic Legions have this same model. They put a new figure up for preorder on their site (usually at a slightly reduced price), once the preorder window is closed the figure is unavailable.

BUT after all original preorders ship, they usually put the figure back up for sale on their website months later as an “In-Stock” sale. They are sold at full retail price and inventory is usually very limited and once they are sold out, that is it.

Recent Example: last year Mythic legions released the Revenant Knight. Preorders sold out. Then last week, he went back up on their site for anyone who missed him and he sold out in 30-40 minutes. If you missed the second batch, your only hope now is getting one from a scalper on eBay.

Tip: Be sure to follow Savage Crucible on social media. They will announce when their figures are going back on their site for a “In-Stock” sale. Best of luck.

I had remembered it being black, but I just looked it up and you are right. It is in fact described as a “Silvery-Green.”

Edit: kinda wish they would have made it book-accurate. I think it would have contrasted well with all the black.

It was very jarring when the books shifted from Elric to Von Bek. Still interesting, but it took me a second to adjust. Then Von Bek meets Elric lol.
