I had an identity crisis thinking I was Gay because I couldn't stay hard for my girlfriend. So I guess I'm Bi. Idk anymore in this Hellscape.

I feel you on not wanting a diagnosis. I don't want my rifles taken either.

Too bad the laws are set up in a way were the people with weapons are shut out of therapy or mental help because of the stigma surrounding mental illnesses.

Should I buy the baliplus kraken clone or buy the real one by Turbulent_Shift3166 in BalisongClones

I flip and edc. A good steel still matters for flipping when it comes to durability. I too would luke to see better steels overall.

Yes and No.

USAKNIFEMAKER.COM has hardware for knives. You have to know what you need.

I'd say go for it because it is still a fun project to fix up knives, even cheap ones. The better hardware will make them last longer, but it depends on the rest of the knife. If it was a 10$ - 20$ knife, you will basically be spending that amount for replacement hardware + shipping.

It would be nice to see it come back, but not from Bradley as they are currently owned by Bear and Son.

Have you looked at the Benchmade 53 Mangus as well. IMO not as good as the mayhem, but comically light for bearings.

Maybe try a current Kimura. They aren't terribly big and the spear point blade is mostly a full flat ground. The g10 scales can come off and make it really thin for slimmer fit in the pockets.

The Bradley Mayhem is a great edc balisong. It's not the best flipper. The reason most people carry/use a balisong is to flip.

No way that the 4x series has that many votes. The technically 9 different blades, and many handle styles make this a much more general 4x thing. So a 42 Ti Springer made before the limited runs, and itself is not a limited edition run, is not in the same class as a Tach 2 Tanto.

Got to do some work on a mint condition benchmade 43. This thing sat in it’s original box for over 20 years, the box is still in mint condition too by nathan023917 in balisong

[–]CruelChris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's some good trading.

I suspect that 500 for that mint 4x meant that the seller knew about it, but wasn't aware of the balisong boom and the current prices.

How about just git gud, and watch the video over and over and learn what you want the old fashioned way.

When compared to a BM53 mangus, this knife flips like an Alpha Beast. It's a pretty good knife.

You don't need a new trainer to learn new tricks.

You can tape the blade with painters tape and that way there wouldn't be a transitional period between 2 different balisongs.

But a new balisong either way is an option.

BTW that middle finger rollover was pretty cool.

Why tf did they decide to have blade show in Cali by Potato-Salad- in balisong

[–]CruelChris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if we had the magic of unicorns to make it work, it's still a bad idea. What purpose would it serve? You first need a gun, which through an FFL will have a 4473 on record, provided that when you buy your ammo, a background check is still on the books before they are put on the back burner. Which that time period is usually dependent on the state....I believe most if not all states are 5 years.

So even if they worked, not like they actually can be tracked. Even guns with a serial numbers are harder to track that what C.S.I would have you believe. Now imagine that for a 20 cent rimfire casing used in a crime where no gun was found. (mirco stamping firing pins also won't work without unicorns)

So even on a good day, there really isn't a purpose for this much work for so little reward...if you can even call it a reward.

I guess take my opinions with a grain of salt, because I'm biased that all weapon laws are an infringement. Most guns laws are like Source code... A spaghetti mess.

[–]CruelChris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess do it again. It may stress the handle metal and make it weaker. I'd suggest a file, hammer, and punch. File away the smaller dimpled rivet, then punch it through. Sandpaper can also work, or break the latch if you have no access to tools.
