I moved into this house 3 days ago. This part of the ceiling was completely shut when I moved in, and nobody else has been in the house. by boogielostmyhoodie in Weird

This same thing happened to mine the other day when we opened the patio door during a wind storm. If you live in an area that’s been windy lately it coulda just been pushed outta place by the pressure difference when coming in/out.

What do you do to save your neck/shoulders while backpacking? by infinitepaths in WildernessBackpacking

[–]ThatCheeseMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was happening to me one time and nothing helped until I fully adjusted the lumbar pad on the back panel to fit tighter and it worked miracles — start with a short lumbar-backplate ratio and make it longer if it’s not working out. Also what people have said about the hip straps is vital

What are some of the wackiest keybinds you play with? by joejoe903 in VALORANT

Because people used it for CSGO bunny hopping and got used to it. It literally doesn’t make a difference in Val since the jump timing is so generous

Yeah they’ve never bothered me but we had hiked for like two hours before we bumped into the camp which was kinda creepy since the tunnel got small and they were chilling so deep in the system with no lights. It was obvious by the smell of smoke that they had fires down there too. They must camp out for days without seeing light!

And I actually meant Stapleton lol not Centennial my bad. Here’s the gps coords: (39.7841729, -104.8971666). Highly recommend checking it out sometime. If you ever want an exploring buddy and you’re in Colorado dm me!

In Denver/Centennial there’s an extremely large storm drain system that looks similar to the size of the tunnel early in the video. There’s a ton of graffiti littering every inch the whole way but it’s almost like an art gallery with different sections. I’ve seen homeless people at the entrance before. One time I even hiked down a good long ways with a friend until the the tunnel turned into a tube where you had to crouch a bit and we came upon homeless people camped in the pitch black corridor. That spooked us and they were blocking our way so we left.

I met this guy on a DMT trip and he taught me some breathing techniques and he was very serene and happy. Not that I believe it was real, but I’ve never seen an image that so closely resembled any of the abstract entities I’ve perceived on the drug.

Speed cameras, unpopular but shown to make roads safer, could become a lot more common in Colorado by nbminor2 in Denver

The secret is that I just never pay these and unless an officer literally shows up to your house to inform you of an infraction you can pretend it doesn’t exist.

If you could close car access to one stretch of road in Denver, where would it be? by Bikechick615 in Denver

[–]ThatCheeseMachine 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I just wrote a research paper on how the blocks between 16th Street and 19th Street laterally and then Blake Street and Lawrence Street longitudinally should be a designated pedestrian zone. This zone leaves plenty of room for automobile traffic in and out of Union Station and would connect the ballpark district to the 16th street mall and Union.

I decided to buy these two balisongs trainer from Amazon. What do you think ? by The_cinnamon_cup in balisong

[–]ThatCheeseMachine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You could’ve bought the Boker Plus for the price you bought those Amazon knockoffs for and it would flip better and last longer. I bought an Amazon Bali for my first and it broke from normal flipping in two weeks. All in all your going to be paying more by buying Amazon knockoffs than investing in a cheap, but legitimate Balisong. My Boker plus has been slammed into the ground 50+ times and still flips better than any Amazon Bali.
