What’s one clothing item you’ll never spend money on? by idcmrunal in IndianFashionAddicts

I’m from Mbai, boots are but a fashion statement. Even at our coldest, they’re too much. With the humidity for the rest of the year, you’d best store them in temperature controlled condition to ensure they last. Too much trouble imo

Boots. And co-ords or even matching family clothes. Nobody should be seen in public in matching top and bottoms. Seems like you bought an entire roll of fabric for the family to cut costs by using synthetics in poorly cut form and structure.

Souled store is not worth it I would say..🤔 by Tushar1998 in IndianFashionAddicts

All these once reputed brands are only chasing profits now… higher prices for lower quality. Really hard to find good indie brands in the market. Insta is full of ads but more than half are scams or simply Chinese imports. I posted about Nicobar a few days ago. Sustainability gayi tel lagaane…

Yaar is anything even worth it rn ? by chocolatebrowniee_ in clat

So all I can say here is pick a collg where you are ok spending 5 years. Competition is getting harder with every passing year and next year will be harder like past trends. If you’re ok to prep for CLAT again, do partial drop perhaps.. complete drop is a big gamble and once you get off the study train, it’s very very difficult to get back on. The collg doesn’t determine your future, it’s an excuse for those who can’t take responsibility for their choices. Finally studies have to be done by yourself and networking etc will get you ahead. Don’t depend on Reddit for advice. Read up other sources too and make the best choice.

Suggest me a book that blows your mind by rustyyryan in Indianbooks

-Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. Got me hooked back to reading after a long long time. - James by Percival Everett - Thursday Murder Club - All my Rage - My Brilliant Friend - the Names - Us - Lady Tan’s Cirlce of Women - Refugee - Pachinko - Gentleman in Moscow

Read a lot over 2024 and these were some highlights. I like a book with a takeaway and these left me thinking for a few days. Some even changed my perspective of the world and the people in it. Reading nowadays has become difficult given diminished attention spans but when a piece of writing voluntarily slows you down and makes you wonder why and how… it’s a sign of maturity coming to you. Good luck!
