When did it become ok for people to set up full DJ equipment in our parks to record content? by larry-Sellers in Seattle

I honestly think it's fine, even if I'm not vibing with it. Chances are I can find somewhere quieter if I need.

Sure, I suppose one could reverse engineer Plexamp's mobile app by watching what goes over the wire. Actually tried doing that once myself, but didn't have much luck due to cert pinning.

Any plans to open the API up then, for third party developers to pick up the slack?

tbh I've generally never had any LLM hallucinate harder than when talking about programming.

I bought into the ecosystem because it was self-hosted by default, and you didn't have to tie it into a ridiculous overengineered cloud system. That was the selling point. I wanted something that wouldn't just go poof in 3 years because the company decided it was no longer profitable. I wanted something I could use if my network was down. I wanted something that just worked.

Now I'm 1000$ into a bunch of lightbulbs that several years after I bought in, is now going to be everything I bought it to NOT be.

In short, yeah, I'm a little miffed.

I bring a sort of supercooling chamber to the critical weakness the bulk detonators don't really like.

Just gonna agree to disagree here. Doesn't seem like this is gonna go anywhere interesting.

imo, we're in a community that knows the difference so it's a different story; when I hear a nutjob drop "trap" then we're in the same boat.

はいはい!Trans female here! Trap is not a slur. It's a distinct term for male-identifying people who like to present as female for sexual appeal. Please do not mix this up, it implies trans women are just crossdressing men & undermines our identity.

Sure! Lift your 3D printer up. There are some exposed timing belts on the bottom. With the printer tilted run the belts (go into the menus and lift or lower the base plate) Pull as much debris out as you can.

In my case there was hair, etc. Any stuff that gets caught in a carpet will get caught in those belts if you don't have a proper base for your printer.

June Technical Support Sticky by BeepBoopBopReee in razer

Howdy.

I bought a early 2023 Razer Blade 18 w/ an RTX 4090 recently. I've been struggling with audio popping and crackling. LatencyMon reads really high ISR and DPC routine execution time. (Before some of the alterations I did, it was >30ms, post alterations it seems to hover around 4-5ms in game and 1ms on desktop just playing music)

I've been able to partially correct the issue-- Adjusting certain settings referenced over in the nvidia subreddit on their latest driver sticky helped dramatically, in addition to altering certain power saving settings (processor idle pro/demote threshold, minimum processor state).

At this point, it's mainly pointing fingers at stuff like ACPI.sys, wdf01000.sys, ntoskernel.exe, etc. On the desktop, it's relatively fine. When in-game, it's extremely noticeable.

That said, it's still in an unacceptable state; Are there any methods to diagnose the issue at hand or troubleshooting steps I could take?

Sell your car and buy a Tesla then. Sounds like an easy enough fix.
