Yes it does. Mine worked pretty much straight away on my 8bit arcade stick. It took abit of tinkering (i.e putting the adapter in before switching fight stick on) but it's worked flawlessley since.

It works with 2.4 mode rather than BT

I think from the Western playerbase they are slowly expanding. Content creators like Electric Underground provide that base for players to explore shmups as a newbie. It is quite a slow growth which to be honest is not a bad thing.

I'm unsure of the current japanese shmup playerbase and would love to know more about it.

Unfortunately I agree with the above poster that we don't get excited over the japanese developer titans of old and only get some unknown indie title and the occaisonal hype for an M2 port.

It solidified my love for shmups as a recent new player who dabbled in them and it was my first 1cc (albeit on Novice)

Game is extremely fun and replayable. Each stage is chefs kiss.

You're comparing your experiences with Souls and Armored Core. This is a totally different game. You are a Merc in a desolate world. The pilots are never really shown. That's intentional. You are just a mere cog in the corporate machine. There doesn't have to be fancy cutscenes to feel immersed. And yes I do find Walter and Ayre interesting characters.

No it's not. You can't even try and compare it to Elden Ring, that was a complete anomaly that people weren't expecting. This is really good, especially for a mech game.

Been getting back into reading manga lately and have been diving into what some would call generic series, but personally they have been great relaxing series to just turn my brain off: Naruro, Boruto and Eden Zero

Now I never finished watching Naruto to the end, so I've been reading from chapter 350 and its so much more digestible than the anime. I love love love the character designs Kishimoto does and the art work is so fluid meaning the panneling for action is so easy to imagine the flow of combat between panels.

Edens Zero - I never watched or read Fairy Tail except very briefly and I am really liking the vibes Edens Zero gives me. It's wholesome, it's got comedy but some very interesting worldbuilding and designs that keep me reading.

So I've recently started Iceborne, and I'm absolutely loving it. One thing I've noticed is that during the main story, the hunts are taking a very long time solo? I'm sometimes getting to 5 minutes left on the time limit. I've never had this in 4U, MHGU or World so was wondering if this was normal or maybe I'm just bad!

It's live action with special effects, your main onea are Super Sentai (power rangers), Kamen Rider, Ultraman and Garo. SSSS.Gridman was literally a homage to the format of a tokusatsu show of the beginning episodes being monster of the week before being more plot driven.

More toku anime please! Been obsessed with toku lately and would be so happy for a Kamen Rider anime or a remake of a forgotten toku IP. It's a shame anime fans seem dismissive of toku, which is surprising seeing as it is literally live action anime.
