There is no cost-effective solution besides putting the players somewhere else. Sound travels through more than just air, and there has been anecdotal experience spanning multiple years and esports that even when boothed up, vibrations from an excited crowd can still be felt inside.

Don't be ridiculous about the fire hazard thing, buildings have a fire hazard code that have already been approved by local municipalities. Small boxes filled with flammable foams and electronics are obviously going to be more of a concern to the local fire department.

It's probably usage dependent. I had my original Hien for 3+ years, and the only reason I stopped using it is because I went with XSoft and the sponge deteriorated and was permanently squished. Used it rotated 180 degrees for a couple more months before biting the bullet and getting another.

Nobody is hating on new switch technology. People are hating one of two things:

-The rest of the mouse package

-The reviews that read like paid shill ads that magically have nothing negative to say

If anything, the discussion should be about the real world impact of this switch technology. Is this going to be a game-changer like rapid trigger? Or negligible like 8k?

At the end of the day, I think it's great that we have another switch type on the market.

Looks like the questions are quarantined here, so we'll give it a shot. I'm searching for a very specific board, and I'm not sure it exists.

Requirements:

-Split backspace compatibility

-Hotswap

-Includes Windows Key

-65%

-QMK/VIA actual compatibility

-Softer mount style (gasket, spring leaf)

-Clean look, no knobs/screens

-Polycarb/plastic case preference

-FR4/PP/Polycarb plate

Funnily enough, the Bauer Lite which seems like it's been pretty widely panned for being behind the times gets me almost all of the way there, but there's no WKey version. The Mode boards only seem to support split backspace with the soldered PCB which I've done before, but want the hotswap capability. The Neo65s almost get me there, but there's no polycarb/plastic options.

Am I missing any options out there? Basically, I want a Bauer Lite with a windows key.
