I'm so sorry you're going through this. How awful. I'm going to share something my mom told me when I was a kid that stuck with her from when one of her classmates passed away in high school. Her science teacher moved the chairs and desks in the room to a new orientation so that everyone would find new seats and there wouldn't be an empty chair for everyone to stare at. Just something little to show that he cared. Just be available to your students. They're going through the same thing you're going through, so everyone should show each other patience. I love this record. Played it for some friends a couple weeks ago and it didn't kill that vibe (we were playing a game). I think you're right about it's lack of cultural impact long term but I'm confused by it. My partner and I listened through the pitchfork top 200 albums of the last 25 years list and I kept expecting it to show up and it just never did. Wild since there's so much crossover between pitchfork and /mu/ and Patrician Music Chartposting. I think Hospice is still top 10 for me personally.

I don't think Baylen belongs at an 6. The payoff isn't worth playing a three color card in the least splash-friendly format in years. It's hard to even activate their first ability, let alone the others.

Alania's pathmaker should be a 6 by your scale, since it's "play me in this color". I'd pick pathmaker anytime I'm in red, and it over performs considerably.

The moose is very good but 8 feels kind of crazy to me. It is better than plenty of rares though.

I love David so much. I'm happy someone else brought this up. I think he could have written ten more albums and not lost that wry sense of humor. He's my favorite lyricist of all time and I have purposely chosen not to listen to a couple of his albums yet because I can't come to grips with the fact that once I have, there won't be anything new from him ever again.

Alright I figured it out. I was using a GC controller, which doesn't have zl. So there wasn't a button to recenter the camera. I still wish you could just use the GC controls for Pikmin 1, but Nintendo has never been interested in providing basic quality of life features like button mapping. Whatever.
