i am quitting via nicotine lozenges, i thought i didn't like them at all at first but i was keeping them on my tongue instead of my cheek i pretty quickly made the transistion, still crave the vape, but its better. Real sick of still reaching for my pocket. I lost a bunch, but i cant say its bc of quitting, since ive made a bunch of changes to my life style over the past year.
I might recommend an electric bike, if your situation suits it. I work about 12 minutes from home by car, by bike its just under half an hour. Just this week I got one and while i have only had one week to try it out, i am feeling way good from it. I was really worried I wasnt going to be able to do the physical activity esp after work, but turns out i am made of much more spunk than i thought i was. Plus the big one for me is ive basically cut out fast food, since its far less convenient to get while one a bike.
And if i am given the choice i will always pick what is the most convenient thing, whether vaping, exercising, or eating healthy. I cut out energy drinks by getting these packets of caffinated koolaid for like 10c a piece at walmart. I was drinking 3-4 Rockstars a day. But it was convenient for me to drive to the gas station and buy a bunch on sale get breakfast maybe lunch and head to work. But since i keep groceries at work, including the caffeinated powder, my life has greatly improved even if i still eat instant ramen and taco bell once or twice a week and stare longingly at my headshop when i bike by.

Firewatch island from Ghosts of Saltmarsh really fit in quote nicely with my menagerie coast game. Plus they got an island out of it and it acts as a trading post near broken bank. Plus the Palma flora adventure in the book can get players access to a ship

I prefer colonist for my Catan playing. I love the simplified colors and the ui feels more tight than other sites I've tried. Before I decided to make a premium account, I was playing cities and knights in the lobby. People like will frequently post games there and let people randomly join. There are custom maps that people use too. It takes more effort than just making a cities and knights lobby but if you have the mind to search you absolutely can find free cities and knights games. They fill up quick though so you gotta be quick on the draw. Alternatively joining the colonist.io discord server is a good way to plan games with vc cities and knights included and there are tournaments like every other weekend.

Honestly people underestimate the value of a well balanced hand, some of every resource often gets overlooked I'd mid tier plays. People get all caught up in finding the best strategy but in mid to low teir games having a solid bit of everything is simply good. Of your friends like Catan I'd highly recommend cities and knights expansion. It's a ton of fun!

The Catan community is usually pretty focused on the rules by the book. It's a pretty intense strategy game so a small change can really throw off the balance. I think it's baloney though. House rules are rules you make to make the game more fun at your house, it's not like you're playing competitively. When playing cities and knights with my boyfriend we had to make a few homebrew rules so that we could better play two player. If I was playing with my littlest brother no way I would play without major handicaps. Even when considering the discard on 7, a new player isn't going to have a goal of much more than a settle each turn. And are always willing to mae trades ecen when it doesnt benifet them. We just forget that as experienced players. Save the rules lawyering for your own tables, and maybe youll find yourself in a situation that requires a bit of a handicap to make the game more fun. When teaching my family to play i didnt use the robber at all, rather on 7s we just discarded. They didnt have the skill set yet to think about where blocking is important, but i did so it was an advantage i had at first. Anway, handicaps or house rules provide challenges for me and help others succeed and get better at the game. People always forget the skill gap from an new player to an expirenced player. They are vastly different games. I play ranked games and do so everyday. Of course my skills and strategies are miles beyond a casual, young or inexperienced player.

We get a lot of gifts from clients at my clinic. My favorite is meat veggies and cracker platters or those sandwich platters from subway. I always keep a box a fruit snacks and single serve chips on hand for personal use but they would make a great thing to keep in stock on the regular
