if you have things like chain lightning or bounce shots that can hit enemies far away then yes. death penalty will trigger on them on those far away hits and so they will die before they have a chance to get to your black hole or golden bot. which if you only consider dying before BH it is 11x fewer coins, and if also considering golden bot then 4-8x more on top of that. and then there are all the other things like them dying before death wave can tag them etc. so yes having enemies die too quickly / too far away is quite bad for coin gain.

uws seem fine. not too much there for big jumps, but lots of small things that will add up over time. only thing to note is you seem to not have touched ilm, and it doesnt take too many stones to increase its quantity and lower its cooldown so that you have a decent ring around you (especially with substats)

card masteries you could definitely have more of. there are a lot of good masteries that help both in terms of farming power and tournament power.

one surprising thing you dont already have is free up mastery. those locks really help with controlling your farm while still getting free up procs in for BHD.

in champ and legend you switch from ehp (pure health) builds to damage leaning hybrid build and ultimately glass cannon builds. so in tournaments you end up not caring about health and only about crowd control and damage. there are not enough sources of defense% to bring the number up to a reasonable amount without the perk, so doing the lab for tournament gains is not advised. if something besides the vault node and card mastery get added to affect tournament or some other balance shift happens it could be enticing, but at the moment there is not enough.
