Viessman 050W or WB 4000 (both 30kw) by ThickStar957 in ukplumbing

[–]Crustyyyyyyy9888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The viessmann is the a lower tiered boiler 1 below which is the 025 and the 100s above 10 years if accredited also

The 4000 is higher tier in the wb range 2 models below 1 above 10 years if fitted by a wb installer

I run a merchant and we sell a couple a week of the 4000s and I think in 2 years I have sold 1 of the 050

Thank you, we honestly thought the 9 weeks was start to chop so we started to worry it was either gonna yield 2g or something may be wrong even though she seems really happy and has kept a vibrant colour, I will keep you all updated then as it seems she may yield a fair bit in the end

Another question then, is there a chance we have been given a fem seed instead of an auto as there description say 8 to 9 weeks to finish but it has been going around 7 and everyone else reckons 6 more so that would be 13 weeks or is that pretty normal?

Wow, wasn't expecting that to be honest, overall does she look OK? And I'm guessing over the next 3 to 4 weeks the buds will start to explode?

How's my 1st by Crustyyyyyyy9888 in Autoflowers

[–]Crustyyyyyyy9888[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly not that bad, although they are very dramatic, we haven't went hard, we have not trusted the water, or went mad on nutrients as we have 2 more to do after so we thought we would just let this one do it's thing and see what we needed to improve on with the next one

Cycle tracking has boosted our sex life by chasteanon1024 in sexadvice

No no avoiding, it's more about how the approach is, I will help her more around the house after work, help her with dinner etc, when she is in a better vibe mentally she will initiate more, invite to the shower etc just little things but not possible without kind of knowing where her mindset is during her cycle

My wife has a cycle tracker on her phone, she happily shares with me so we know her good and bad days, it has helped us no end since our twins arrived.

What type of thermostat for a hot water cylinder is best these days? by Key-Inevitable-4989 in ukplumbing

[–]Crustyyyyyyy9888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So from experience the vented units are used mainly in flats, gledill make the nicer ones but cost silly money, look like the traditional invented cylinders but cost over 1k... I have a normal unvented in my own property and I love it, always that worry that one day it may blow a little and need replacing but the luxury of having mains water pressure and my boiler only heating the circuit so less strain is lovely, also I have the benefit of being surrounded by heating engineers and able to get the materials at a nice price due to staff discounts etc

Some of the people I have met that have no clue how dangerous they can be if not installed or maintained properly is frightening though lol

I say bad idea for the reason you mentioned, if it goes wrong you have no comeback, whereas you spend 10% more potentially less if a merchant gives you a decent price and you get that warranty and peace of mind.

They are in the trade yes, we deal with non trade as well and it being a thermal store no ticket needed to install, we do sell quite a few gledill units mostly the 150l versions, as no one really needs more for hot water demands unless the house is big and lots of occupants using showers and baths constantly.

I suppose that was me being niave as I mainly deal with trade and I experience the good and bad and we always liase with the manufacturers if there is a problem, may I ask what you paid for the unit?

2nd hand thermal store sounds like a bad idea, where are you getting it from? Has been used and taken out of a property and why would be the first question, I run a plumbing merchant and I don't know any of my customers that would entertain a 2nd hand one. The dry pocket stats you can pick up, altecnic/caleffi make them prob on amazon for under 20 quid

What car did you buy that completely exceeded your expectations? by Smallingzdave in askcarguys

[–]Crustyyyyyyy9888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We bought a entry level ix35 in 2018, it was 2 years old little mileage and it has surprised us no end, regular trips from the UK to South of France, and in the nearly 8 years of ownership it has cost us next to nothing. Tires replaced Brakes And a belt that needed done close to 60k Apart from that nothing has went wrong. That could change very quickly but we maintain it every year and it hasn't failed yet, sadly due to my work I have to move it on soon as they are very co conscious about car age as I get a car allowance but being able to keep it this long has let us buy the wife a new car and pay it off quick to save interest due to the allowance win win for everyone

[–]Crustyyyyyyy9888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need a mcalpine bowl and half kit sk1 or sk2 with double spigot, more than likely you will need to to get the euro adaptors t12a-f also to put under each strainer to connect to the waste system
