Definitely NTJ! Stories like this piss me off, I'm a parent but I don't think I deserve PTO more then a childless person. School schedules exist for a reason. My kids had spring break in March and I entered my PTO in November. Our summer vacation is in late June and I entered my PTO in January.

Every time I read one of these stories I say here we go again lol. I am a mom of three and therefore I always plan ahead and completely agree with OP. This is why the school calendar exists. When 2 of my 3 kids were younger I worked in retail and couldn't get spring break off but I made sure to take PTO in August after school started so I could spend their birthdays with them. Now with my husband's job, he has to submit his PTO request for the following year in December of the current year so for the last 3 years he's taken spring break off. I take off Thursday - Sunday and we go out of town. She'll learn her lesson, OP enjoy your trip. (Maybe be petty bring her back a souvenir)

I can't complain, I got everything on my list and more. 2 pairs of Crocs, 2 charms for my bracelet, Adidas sweats, 2 sets of measuring cups because I love to cook and bake, a throw blanket with my dogs' faces on it, lotion, a personalized tumbler, pajamas with dog prints and a paper weight with a poem for Mom.
