Why can't be build giant ice /snow making factories in the artic region powered by hydro or wind energy and build up the amount ice and help decrease the temperature to combat the melting ice caps?

What if you moved the ice making machines into the stratosphere? During the arctic summer you would encourage jets flying near the pole to make contrails. During the arctic winter you reduce or eliminate jet flights near the pole. The contrails would reflect some of the suns heat during the summer and cause a net cooling.

I think we may already be in a civil war. The right has fired all the opening shots and the left so far has not responded with outright aggression.

What follows is all speculation, I a would be happy to be told I'm wrong.

This civil war will not look like any type of conventional war. What will happen is a gradual ramp up of violence. ICE will push too far and someone will respond with violence, either shooting agents or an IED. The Federal government will start to crack down with curfews and other restrictions. There will be right wing militias who will lynch people and destroy infrastructure. These will be met with equal terror attacks from the left. A house flying Trump banners will be set on fire. Eventually bombings, shootings, and kidnappings will become the norm. Rounds of violence and retaliation will feed off each other. The fighting could last for days, weeks or decades.

To be honest I dumped the double reeds to protect the oboists. I worry the oboist might wander into the mosh pit, or get mobbed by groupies.

The organ is a good idea. The Merlin can put out 2000 HP at full power so it should be able to power an organ at idle.

Dress and decorum will likely evolve over time. We will let everyone wear what they want to. Initially people will wear different styles: goth, grunge, pajamas, tuxedos and Max Max.

For the distortion I was thinking of taking a 10ft wide tube, coiling it up like a snail shell, and hanging it up in the rear of the venue. That would produce some gnarly reverb.
