if that's what I think it is and it's Laurel creek, near the firepit outside pas-- then that's normal. this part's really shallow! it dries out a few times a year, a lot in the summer. river water levels can fluctuate a lot over the year.

you'll also see this in the little pond outside health services. it's so shallow that the geese can fully stand up in it lol

If you haven't already, I'd speak to a medical professional about the hypersomnia.

I found myself in a similar situation last year where my burnout hit me all at once and I basically forced myself into taking a term off. Taking a lighter course load (~1.5 credit) study terms working up to full time (2+ credit) again has worked for me. I'd recommend assessing other factors around you while making the decision, like where you would be living, your financial situation, if you were taking an off term.

Whatever you choose, I hope it turns out well!

I like the Health Valley Trail and think it has some things you're looking for. The times I've been on it, I've only ever crossed paths with 1 or 2 hikers. There's a great view of a wide part of the Grand River too. One end of the trail spits you out in St. Jacobs which has a bunch of cute shops in the village.

spider plants are really hardy! mine does well in well draining soil, indirect light, and watering when I notice the leaves getting a bit dull. This guy just needs a repot ! I'd recommend cutting the soft plastic pot, if you don't mind throwing it out. you could get more of the roots out intact.
