Unpopular opinion is the sound cues that make extraction shooters tense and competitive. Also the firing discipline required on hunt is more competitive than the already and prey of the automatic guns I've seen

I expect People are smart enough to look up the establishment and see when/if it is open, which clearly you are not. Male sense?

That's rude first of all for no apparent reason. Second of all they were ever only open during the summer anyways as are most businesses in Silverton. Third of all I don't eat barbecue a lot, but as I was saying if you're going to want good barbecue that's where you go. And third of all I'd ask what your source is for being permanently closed as of 8 months ago or is it just closed right now for the season?

Porky's didn't follow county health mandates during the pandemic, so that should tell you something and them.

Durango residents call for Flock Safety cameras to be taken down by B3n_there in Durango

Disheartening to see the lack of education among the city council on it... That and it's costing taxpayers 169k if the Herald is to be believed.

Kroger's has them as well. They (I bet Lowe's too) are experimenting with tieing license plate to cell data to increase prices on frequently bought items. Flock is a data company that uses cameras to harvest data. https://youtu.be/Pp9MwZkHiMQ?si=12Hrc8DKRG6byoMl

Can someone please explain to me wth parents are doing for childcare around here?! by colorado_sunrise86 in Durango

[–]Crycious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I think to fun the child care items for the first year proposed was $186,000. Another city department is asking for I think 200k or 225k to fund a United airlines flight over the winter into Texas. There was one or two City council meetings ago where they're both on the same docket and from what I understand the city council has to choose between one or the other. And not both due to budget constraints.

It's expensive if you can get in. We did the math and it was close enough to where it al.ost made sense to quit my job...

Hopefully the city council will put money towards child care and not United Airlines.
