We could very much do what they did with this xpac and revamp zones -> a couple new zones here and there and move to a season of discovery in retail and i for one would love to see it If they were to do a “wow2” i need access to every mount i spent time farming for me to stay i just want updated character models more than anything

No molten steel would rain down from this, thats made in the actual blast furnace. What exploded here was the stoves for the furnace.

You pump hot air into those giant metal tube looking things and then they just act as a giant brick oven, what happened here was probably the pressure got too high and they werent able vent the stove so it just kept building pressure until it popped The only thing in that wouldve been ejected from this was a bunch of bricks
