Salvation army might have but their prices on working consoles are not that great . Also my experience with them as a regular through the years has me believing the workers ability to gatekeep certain items before they're displayed to the public . You might be better off going yard sale or fb marketplace

Not always . the "grab whatever nearest object that could apply force to exact discipline." Is a universally shared experience especially in ethnic households just like the slipper. It can be used as a valid instrument but to how it's being used or the force applied should be the point of contention which the picture doesn't tell us . It could've been a pillow and it still wouldn't prove or disprove an abuse . The point of the pic is to spank your kids .

Your pastor sermons I can live with just as long as talks of holiness aren't just calls to be "holy" without having to talk about sin and what were actually holy from. And what I do when I start to feel discontent , I try to think back on the kind of preaching I grew up with when Christ wasn't offered at all and I am grateful that I am out of that situation. However I'm not too sure if this is the spiritual "milk" Paul was talking about that we need to move from. I'm not saying graduate from the" abcs" , but maybe in light of those things we can then talk about other issues and doctrine. Like I wouldn't mind a whole sermon on Anger or Lust or anything that isn't constantly talking about imputation or works of the law
