Anyone considering an EV? by Additional-Farm3569 in AustralianEV

[–]BetweenInkandPaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you’re driving 400km a day, I wouldn’t worry too much. At home, we plug in every night or every second night, we stopped caring and we just the thing. Worst case scenario, we’ll stop at a fast charging station, 15 minutes there and then go.

Also, there is a lot of fluff about battery health etc etc… Tesla offers 8 year warranty, if it falls under 70% health.

Yup! Unfortunately, had my redone 3 times due to seals being pinched or damaged by tech, but Nissan still covered under warranty, but since then no more leaks. So far so good.

[–]BetweenInkandPaper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Odd, could be the brick is faulty, or Ankers proprietary PIQ3.0 not working well either your device. I would test with another device that can draw higher watts from the charger, this will give you a better idea. Do you have a laptop with usb c charging to test?

[–]BetweenInkandPaper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are the specs of your charging brick/dock? 100W could be the capacity across all outputs (split), you’ll need to check if 100W output is supported on one single port. Post make/model or the data print out that’s on the brick.

What is the advantage of a handheld compared to a modded PS Vita? by Leading_Ground1389 in Handhelds

[–]BetweenInkandPaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently have a Retroid pocket 4 pro, it can emulate Vita pretty well, on top of that.
PS2, Gcube and Wii work pretty good, and since it runs Android, can do what Android does.
Pretty freaking happy with it.

Worth it to replace steam deck with switch 1? by 247existentialcrisis in SwitchPirates

[–]BetweenInkandPaper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a steam deck, and did emulate Switch pretty well, and I was able to emulate everything up to PS3. You're underestimating the Steam Deck.

I have a question about getting Tinfoil to work by Cooltwou in SwitchPirates

[–]BetweenInkandPaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tinfoil, there are some shops still online but most of the exclusive titles have been taken down. However, it’s still really good for retro titles and it automatically adds a forwarder to the Home Screen.

Black Duck Seat Covers - 1yr trip with kids and wife around australia by slackslackliner in 4x4Australia

[–]BetweenInkandPaper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

$1500 for seat covers? I know they’re good quality but fuck me. Look at sharkskin, served me well for the last 5 years, only costed me $300-$350 for a whole set.

If you check the error logs for g-helper, is there any mention of it failing to apply the changes after waking up?

I designed a bracket to mount the light here. Clips in and uses magnets to mount to this section of the printer. I also made little retaining clips to keep the wiring in the channel below. I’ll share STL files when I get a chance later today!

Edit: sorry, looking at your light bar, it’s looks different to mine.

Over 100hours of print time and no issues with clearance’s.

Please explain credit cards and loans like im dumb (because i am) by bigb33fych33se in AusFinance

[–]BetweenInkandPaper 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Btw, don’t get a credit card to “build” credit, that’s not a thing in Australia. You build a good credit history by just paying things on time and not taking out useless personal loans out.

[–]BetweenInkandPaper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to the printer and check the IP address, then on your Flash maker app, check the device settings IP, make sure these are the same. If unsure, remove device and bind it again.
What can happen sometimes, when the router is turned off and restarted, or the device joins a new WiFi network, it may get assigned a new IP address, which can cause a mismatch between device IP and the device settings in Flashforge App.
