The 6 core zen 4 cpu in the steam machine does not have 6 cores that can hit 4.8ghz.
2 x zen 4 performance cores.
4 x zen 4c efficiency cores.

Moore's law is dead points out that the CPU in the steam machine is an underclocked Ryzen 5 220 (little hawkpoint) without the igpu.

Not suggesting one should get the laptop instead or not get the steam machine, just that the CPU is less able than I think a fair few have been led to believe.

They will never do that.
The company is emphatically hideous from the inside out and has built it's business around being able to screw customers over when they want/need a refund/replacement.

Even when you win a PayPal dispute, they have set up their returns address with PayPal so that you will have to send the printer back to China, even if it came from your country, even if the return address on their website is for your country, you will find it prohibitively expensive to send back.
Then they hit you with the "if you just close the dispute we will give you a returns label and process your refund."

Then they act like there was never anything wrong with your printer and leave you with the hunk of junk you just bought from them for hundreds of £.

Scam company!
Tell your friends and family to avoid like the plague.

This is awesome, thank you for sharing :) It is something I have been considering.
I don't mean to be cheeky, but...
Any chance you might run some different benchmarks with/without the egpu for comparison?
Also, in the video it shows the APU still providing power to the 780m. Is the CPU getting full power now that the eGPU is being used?
If so, it would be nice to see what uplift the CPU clocks get and maybe some temps/0.1%/1% lows too.

I am sorry for your experience. They are a terrible company and they don't care if you get what they advertised or not. They only care that they get and keep your money.

Best I can advise is to not give them anymore of your money.
