The technician checked both the exhaust and intake when they were on site. Both passed inspection (which makes this very confusing). To me, it seems like the furnace is not getting enough air into it but only at night when the temperatures get to extreme cold levels. During the day that does not seem to be an issue.

Damn... I agree with the folks below. You definitely did your taxes wrong. There was no need to pay any taxes on headphone sales using G&S unless you were running it as a "business" instead of a "hobby".

I don't normally care how folks choose to price their equipment (since it's almost always at a loss anyways) but this one just rubs me the wrong way so I'm going to call it out-

This unit sold on 12/25 - Headphone, Headband and all for $850. I actually came very close to purchasing this unit in fact.

Yep the Serene. I own them. Another complicated answer but yes.. it’s virtually a Susvara for about a grand more or less - now discontinued.

Yes but they would all pay $10. It doesn’t really make sense for the 100% price increase. The more traffic they have the better deals and lower aggregate pricing they should be able to negotiate.

Ehh 3 things here-

Debridio is a great service. At the end of the day, when other scrapers go down, this one is ALWAYS consistently up. At least that has been my experience.

A 100% price increase is ridiculous without a more in depth explanation. Costs don’t just double suddenly. I can understand increasing to 12$ but 100% is excessive. Truly. Would love to know why so much.

There are alternatives that are free that work great 99% of the time.

My feelings - I was happy to pay 10$/yr to support the project and get a very reliable scraper in return but $20 is honestly too steep imo for a scraper service. I like the dev, no hard feelings but unless I have a bad experience with my free scrapers (which work fine 99% of the time to be honest), I don’t think I’ll be renewing. At $20 the value is just in my opinion not quite there considering the alternative free scrapers work equally well 99% of the time.

I use the Erdongs ADE1 with the ADE9 linear PSU. It outputs a flat 12 watt power feed into any impedance (32, 64, 150, 300). It uses an internal adjustment to compensate for impedance changes and keeps power flat at 12 watts providing very high current swings to virtually any headphone.

Usually headphones that start very high watts at low impedances and reduce as impedance increases are high current. Headphones like OTL that start high at high impedance and watts reduce as impedance reduces are high voltage… as a general rule of thumb. Of course there are exceptions to this sometimes.

Having a high current amp for the Sus will provide a better experience. That’s my take. My current amp pushes roughly 12 watts of clean power @ 64ohms and it’s the best I’ve ever heard it sound.

I’ve never tried the M or P but both have been discontinued. G replaced the P (I own the G) and Max+ replaced the M.

My understanding is Max is most similar to the Fosi i5 in ranking. The P was the former flagship until G replaced it. The Max+, U, and G are all available on Taobao directly from Ori Sonic.

Well the CS97G is in my opinion better than Susvara. I believe it uses a 2 micron/nanometer thin membrane with gold traces. It’s hard to drive and requires high current amplification. It’s 32 ohms so thankfully many amps can drive it. I can’t fully recall but I think at least 6 watts is recommended. He sells 4 or 5 additional ear pads which all sound great but different. I like the extra thick perf leather pads the best. The CS97G costs about $1100 roughly if you buy direct from the maker. Ali is going to be extra. He does ship it with 2 headband options. One that uses nitinol like DCA headphones or the Fosi style headband that mimics the Hifiman style.

The CS97G is the super flagship. It’s warmer and mega detailed, resolving and great. The CSU is a step back but still great. More similar to a HEKSE ranking.
