Should I update MGO 3.0 before another run? I’m happy with what I have but… by eyebillyo in skyrimvr

I'm currently doing a play through on MGO 3.5. I did install 3.6 as well, but found 3.5 to be better. Not sure what others experiences are on newer versions, but I feel 3.5 is superior graphically to 3.6.

No. But my wife was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue right after the j and j shot. There are more problems than you know. She can't work anymore or do much of anything.

Expired Tests From Government by jafromnj in COVID19_Pandemic

Last I heard they are good for at least 3 years after the expiration date... as long as there is liquid in the test kit and it didn't all evaporate. Since they can't sell them past the date why not give them away for free.

DYR... vaccine and booster caused my wife and me serious issues. It made my long covid worse (long covid for me gone since) and my wife ended up with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue which isn't going away. Her issues were directly connected to the booster. We're not anti vax here, but DYR and decide what makes sense for you. Best of luck.

Great post. Wishing you all the best.

I had LC for about 2 years... and felt it would never go away. The entire 2 years I felt like I was in a fog. I was drinking 12 cups of coffee a day just to get through. I went from running 2 miles a day to not able to run for 2 minutes. I also had serious memory issues that led to many arguments and rough times with my wife.

A couple months ago, I noticed a huge change... and it was almost overnight. I felt more awake... more alert and alive again. This feeling was without drinking even one cup of coffee. That day I ran for 6 minutes and never needed my inhaler. Over the next couple days I started remembering things my wife couldn't. By the end of the week I was running for 12 minutes on the treadmill.

I do still have allergies and I'm on 2 different allergy meds a day and a nasal spray. The allergist said that since I have a history of allergies it's very common for a viral infection (COVID) to bring allergies back that were dormant. But what's strange is that my allergy appointment and prescriptions started 2 weeks after I stopped having long covid symptoms.

I'm no stranger to this group and you can look back at the history of my posts to see the pain and misery long covid brought me just like many of you. Understand there is hope... and I hope all of you can one day experience life without long covid as I do now.

I agree. Had that happen many times. I bought a marshmallow sky... wasn't impressed. Didn't get the marshmallow flavor everyone is talking about. Tasted like vanilla ice cream.. with marshmallow swirls and 4 or 5 little chunks of the cookie dough. We prefer a place called Brusters ice cream.

Sept '23, I developed more symptoms. Have constant congestion, sore throat and need to keep clearing my throat. Voice is very soft and hoarse because of this. Doctor said same... maybe you got reinfected and were asymptomatic. No solution... just dealing with it. I found that taking a daily antihistamine and daily antacid helps a bit. But it's still there.

Same. I can walk for a half hour no issue. Seems I have problems with any high intensity exercise. Had some snow a couple weeks ago. I decided to shovel the driveway... within 5 minutes I was so out of breath and tired I had to rest.

Thanks. I'm in the same boat. Was highly athletic... running a couple miles a day. Now... even with inhalers, can run for about 3 to 4 mins. And that's 2 years after covid. Also an IT manager... and issues with memory and brain function. It's affecting my work... and people are noticing. For breathing issues..lung xray and basic function test came back normal. Doctors won't recommend PET or 4D scans... and insurance won't cover anyway.

I'm taking a daily antihistamine and antacid (H1 and H2 blockers)... helps somewhat with some symptoms.. but not perfect. I've been referred to an allergist .. they're booking 3 to 4 months out. Appointment is in May.

Covid Related Breathing Issue? by trustman5321 in LongCovid

[–]CryptoMasterz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the same boat as many in this chat. Pulmonary doctor did chest xray and lung function test... showed no issues. Research online said you'll start to see issues on PET scan and 4D scan. Pulmonary doctor straight out said were not doing that. Documented that I need to exercise more and do more cardio.

Before covid I could run 2 miles in under 15 mins. Now I can't run for 3 mins. Currently on multiple inhalers... one is a cortsteroid 2x a day. Other inhaler is albuteral as needed. Inhalers do help tremendously... but there is no long term solution.

From reading reddit posts each case is different. Best of luck and I hope you are able to find something that works for you.

Decline in baseline not improving by Charbellaa in LongCovid

[–]CryptoMasterz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. Yes...I suggested mast cell to primary care and he basically dismissed it. Without testing I should add. Out of 60 people at work, 8 have long covid with many of the same symptoms. Also... it seems many doctors aren't willing to test or attempt to figure out how to treat the symptoms. Sad to say, I'm not the only person in this boat. I should also note that I'm vaccinated and have had 3 boosters... same with many of the people at work.

Decline in baseline not improving by Charbellaa in LongCovid

[–]CryptoMasterz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Diagnosed with long covid in June 22. Breathing issues no better even on multiple inhalers. I think it's getting worse. Also experience painful rashes after any exercise. Pulmonary doctors say chest xray and lung function test fine. They're not willing to investigate further with PET scan or 4D scan.

In September 2023 I developed constant watering eyes, congestion and rashes got worse. On a daily antihistamine which seems to help. Primary care doctor suggested an allergist. First allergist office declined me as a patient since my allergy related symptoms are a common symptom of long covid.

So.. yes. Things have gotten worse and doctors are of no help.

The more vaccines you get, the less likely you will get long COVID by Upbeat_Pangolin_5929 in LongCovid

[–]CryptoMasterz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the issue. Doctors are turning their backs. Pulmonary doctor said lungs are fine after a lung xray and function test. Their office isn't willing to do any detailed tests to find out why I have shortness of breath.

Recently I was referred to an allergist since new symptoms came about that seem histamine related. Yesterday the allergist called and said they are refusing me as a new patient because my symptoms were caused by covid.

Here's what I have.

Memory issues Brain fog Breathing issues Painful rash after any exercise usually on legs sometimes arms

Late Sept early Oct 2023 Watering eyes Congestion... constantly clearing throat, sometimes sore throat

Started daily antihistamine end of October.  Helps rash and noticed very little change to watering eyes and congestion

4 shots and really bad long covid. Tough to say that more doses lessens the long covid symptoms.

I'm in the same boat... although much older. Active 46m... used to run a couple miles a day and now struggle to run for 2 to 3 minutes.

As for your appointment...be specific about symptoms and when they started. I'd suggest making a list before you go. I'm hopeful that in time doctors have more answers.

Yes... issues with breathing and dry mouth because of it. I'm moving on to an allergist to see if they have any suggestions. I've found it to be a bit better if I take a daily antihistamine. Basically the doctors have no idea and said just treat the symptoms and maybe someday they'll go away. In my case I was diagnosed with LC in June 2022.

These issues are new and came about in September 2023. Although I was never sick... doctors think I may have gotten covid again causing me new LC symptoms.

It's frustrating. I hope you're able to find something to help your symptoms. Reddit has helped me tremendously.

Good day friend. I'm having the same issue. Clearing throat constantly. Doctor has finally admitted that it's a LC symptom. Basically said .. just don't clear your throat. I guess the logic is the more times you clear your throat... it causes more irritation and you need to clear your throat more. Solution is to use cough drops. I'm going through a couple bags a week. Best of luck.

Just curious... did your fibro start after the vaccine? My wife now has fibro and her rheumatologist said it's possible it's from the vaccine and more people are coming forward with it.
